Every day, my Twitter feed is filled with dozens of random questions. This is where I provide the answers. It’s Ultimate X Q&A. Let’s do this.
What’s your spirit animal and why?
It’s got to be a cat. Stalk, sleep, eat, crap, and otherwise, just be passive-aggressive with an adorable face. That sounds like me, right?
Do you have a sweet tooth or do you prefer savory snacks?
Sweet is okay, but I like the savory, filling snacks instead.
What’s the most memorable concert or live performance you’ve ever attended?
Two shows come to mind. Operation Rock & Roll for the great people I was with and the entire atmosphere and the memories. Theresa, Chris, Pat, and myself. A moment in time I will forever cherish. And for the show itself and the music, Reba McEntire, in Charlotte, NC with Sandra. Reba knows how to put on a great live show. She’s amazing.
Would you rather be in jail for five years or be in a coma for a decade?
I’ll go with the jail. A ten-year nap sounds kind of majorly extreme.
Would you rather have a superpower that makes you sneeze uncontrollably or a superpower that makes you uncontrollably laugh?
The sneezing or laughing only happens while using the power, right? I’ll go with the laughing. I hate sneezing.
What’s the best thing about being an adult?
Alcohol and sex. As a kid, they’re not quite as much fun. But as an adult, I have a choice and that makes all the difference.
Have you ever thought about who’s been sleeping in the bed in your hotel room or what’s happened in that bed?
Nope, and to be honest, I’d rather not know or think about that. Some things are better left unknown.
When it comes to fiction books, do you prefer fantasy or mystery?
Fantasy all the way. I want heroes, magic, monsters, and things that only exist in the dreams. It makes for a better story in my opinion.
Would you rather be a superhero or a wizard?
A Wizard. And yes, I’m still waiting for my letter from Hogwarts.
If you could interview 1 person (past or present), who would it be?
Given that I was reading one of his books earlier today, I’d love to have a conversation with Hugh Prather, author of Notes to Myself.
Tell me 3 things you are grateful for.
My health. It’s not great, but I’m still alive and that has to count for something. My family/friends. They’re few and far between, but they’re my support, my rocks, and I am very thankful for the roles that each person, be they blood or not, has played in my life. And my imagination/ability to create. It gives me an outlet to express myself, reflect on the world around me, and be my own person.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s close up the shop today. Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you in math class.
