Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

Glenn Jacobs, aka Kane, the Republican Mayor of Knox County, TN, has challenged Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D) to a charity wrestling match after Walz went on a recent podcast and claimed he could, “could kick most [Trump supporters’ a–,”. Jacobs, who supports Trump, wants him to step up and put his money where his mouth is. Thoughts?

Words and actions have consequences. Tim Walz ran his mouth and Kane is calling him out. I’m sure Walz has pissed on himself a few times at the thought of a confrontation with the 7-foot-tall Big Red Monster. I’m sure that Walz will find a way to blame it on MAGA and back out of this entire situation. Maybe he can get John Fetterman to step up and take his spot. It’s just fun politics in America. I hope Walz grows a set and takes the challenge. I know that he won’t.

Fatal 4-Way Match: John Cena versus Triple H versus Hulk Hogan versus Roman Reigns. Who wins?

Triple H wins. He’s the one who signs the check.

When was the last time someone left a feud with “Cope” being a bigger star?

Well, there was that feud with Finn Balor, Damion Priest, and Judgment Day. They feuded and then Cope left and Judgment Day became a bigger stars. But aside from that, a feud with Cope hasn’t helped anyone… ever.

What happened to the AEW storyline where Jeff Jarrett was chasing one last World title?

It just vanished into wrestling limbo as the AEW booker got distracted by some shiny new toys with Ricochet & Mike Bailey, he wanted to see more great wrestling with nail-covered 2×4 & Mox, plus Tony has a decision to make about Sting. Maybe one day, he’ll remember Jeff is on the roster and we’ll see that program start again.

Do you miss Dean Ambrose?

As compared to the shameless replica we see bleeding on our television every week in Moxley, most definitely. I was never a big fan of Ambrose, but compared to what he’s doing now, is like comparing Brock Lesnar to Bastion Booger. Much like his fellow former WWE alumni, Mercedes Mone, Mox has proven that without the WWE machine and left to his own merits, he absolutely sucks!

Does Leilani Kai belong in the WWE Hall of Fame?

A no-brainer here. Leilani Kai is a certified wrestling legend and multiple-time Women’s Champion. The idea that she’s not already in the Hall of Fame is a shame. She absolutely belongs.

Do you think Michael Cole deserves to be inducted into the #WWE Hall of Fame?

Again, this is another no-brainer. Cole has earned a spot many times over and before his time in WWE ends, he absolutely should be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Do you think the Jon Moxley spike spot was dumb and reckless or did you enjoy it?

I think it was total stupidity and dangerous. It was a reckless spot that had no meaning or reason for being other than the shock value. Moxley was a total moron for taking that spot.

The Slammys are back. WWE is bringing back the Slammy Awards on Sunday, April 20, and will air live across all the WWE Streaming services. Thoughts?

While I question the timing, adding the Slammy Awards to an already packed and crowded April schedule, the actual idea of bringing back the Slammys is always fun to see. I’d probably save it for the slower months like June or July if it was my call, but apart from that, this is a good move by WWE. There are some really great characters like Chelsea Green, The New Day, Grayson Waller, etc., who can take a concept like The Slammys and run with it.

What if WWE got Sting for the HOF and AEW got Jerry Lawler for one night to call matches with Jim Ross on Dynamite? Fair?

Considering the current health woes of both men, plus the effects of time and age, a full show of Dynamite would probably be too much for Lawler and Ross. It’s a nice idea, but it wouldn’t work very well. Rather than risk embarrassment for both legends, I like the idea that I mentioned a few days ago for a fair trade instead. For being allowed to use Sting at the HOF, let AEW borrow R-Truth. Have Truth walk out on Dynamite, ask where Michael Cole and Pat McAfee are, and then say, “This ain’t RAW? My bad!”, before walking off.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects, and I’ll see you at the matches.
