Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.
Do you agree that Jim Cornette deserves a WWE Hall of Fame induction?
This is a no-brainer. Hopefully, there will be a time when Jim Cornette and The Midnight Express will eventually take the podium and get their well-deserved position in the WWE Hall of Fame.
Should WWE bring Jim Johnston back?
The current music and theme songs for most of the WWE talent tend to suck right now. Bringing back Jim Johnston would be a great way to rectify that. I’d like to see WWE bring him back into their company.
Would you be interested in a Joey Janela podcast?
I’d rather hear Janela talk than watch him wrestle. Janela is a smart guy, opinionated, and entertaining on the mic. If he did a podcast, I’d give it a listen.
Should any stipulations be added to the Roman/Seth/Punk match or are just the bragging rights of victory enough?
The match is big enough on its own, but I’d throw some kind of stipulation just to add to the match and give the three legends more incentive as if they really need it. How about the winner gets a title match against the winner of Cody/Cena at WWE Backlash? That works for me.
According to Max Caster, Anthony Bowens won’t be coming back to AEW. Is Caster right, or are they setting up a feud between the two former partners?
By bringing up Bowen’s name, that just says that Caster and Bowens will be feuding on your television set very shortly. Bowens is coming back.
Wyatt Hendrickson defeated Gable Steveson to win the national title in the biggest upset in NCAA Wrestling history! Should WWE reach out to Hendrickson and offer him a place in their company?
WWE should at least reach out and speak with Hendrickson, to see what his future plans are, and to give him another possible option if he should so choose. Gerald Brisco probably made that phone call yesterday morning.
Do you think Jay White deserves a run with the AEW World Title? Or should he finish business with the Death Riders first?
Isn’t that the same thing? The Death Riders are led by Jon Moxley, who just happens to be the AEW World Champion. So wouldn’t taking the belt from Moxley ramp up things with the Death Riders as well? I’ll just say YES and leave it at that.
Would you like to see Sheamus get one last big WrestleMania moment this year? Or should WWE slow-build him into a post-mania program?
I want to see Sheamus on the Mania show because we know that whatever match he’s involved in, it will be entertaining, a certified BANGER if you will. But the main focus should be on having a longer feud and program to fill the months that follow Mania. Sheamus is an important part of the WWE family and it’s important to keep him strong and active.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects, and I’ll see you at the matches.
