Every day, my Twitter feed is filled with dozens of random questions. This is where I provide the answers. It’s Ultimate X Q&A. Let’s do this.
Can you name a famous horse besides Mr. Ed?
Sarah Jessica Parker? No, she just looks like a horse. What was that famous horse that won all of the races a few years ago? Sea Biscuit? Hell, I can’t remember. Let’s go with the infamous winged horse of myth and legend, Pegasus.
If you had to rate being an adult, 1-5, how many stars would you give it, and what comment would you leave?
I’d give it a 3 at best. And my comment? It ain’t all it’s cracked up to be. Adulting sucks!
Without saying their name, who is your favorite band or artist?
I can’t say the name of the man with the woman’s name who practically recreated vaudeville and brought it to the rock & roll stage. So how will I explain that just like Wayne & Garth in the movie, Wayne’s World, I’m not worthy? I’ll have to ponder on a description for this billion-dollar baby. I’ll get back to you on this one.
If you could only keep one, which one would you choose? Music, books, or movies?
Tough call. The movies can go because I rarely watch movies, plus I’d still have TV shows. But eliminating either books or music? I guess, instead of books, I’d just resort to Kindle or the internet. I’m keeping the music.
Not to be morbid, but what song do you want to be played at your funeral?
That’s tough because I’m not a picky person and hell, I won’t be listening, so why would I care? Just play some Alice Cooper and maybe a song by Waylon and I’d be good. Sighs But I’ll play along and pick two songs. By Alice, how about No Time for Tears? And for the Waylon track, I Do Believe.
Would you accept a free Tesla? Yes or No?
I wouldn’t be driving it, but if one was being given to me, hell yeah, I’d take it. I’d give it to my brother, K-Mak, or maybe Kayden for his first car. Someone would end up driving it.
What is your good addiction?
The writing. It keeps me sane, it’s productive and informative (usually), and it’s a great creative outlet that helps me contribute to making the world a better place.
What should happen to non-disabled people when they park in a handicapped spot?
A huge fine and suspension of their driving license. And if the violations continue, repeated smacks with a baseball bat until they actually need to use the handicapped spots because they have no alternative.
Can black people be racist?
ALL people can be racist. If you feel that skin color makes you superior, or makes someone less of a person, you’re a racist. It really is just that simple. Character and values matter. The color of one’s skin does not.
What’s a behavior or habit that keeps people poor?
Drugs or alcohol. That shit is expensive and to keep spending money on those items means you can’t save or buy other items as needed. The costs add up quickly. This is experience talking.
Does social media make you feel better or worse?
It’s a mixed bag at best. Twitter is a very negative place, while Facebook and Instagram can go either way. But these days, it’s also a necessary evil to stay in touch with friends, keep up with the news, etc. Generally, it doesn’t alter my mood very much. Life in general does enough of that.
What surprises do you like the most?
Visits from good friends, booty calls from sexy dudes, and food. Any of those makes for a good moment.
Which is your favorite day of the week?
Either Saturday or Sunday. No doctor appointments or visits from the health care folks. That always makes for a better day.
Would you rather get back together with your ex or have to listen to only Christmas songs for a year?
I’ve been trying to get up with my ex, but I keep striking out. I’m going to keep trying though. I miss that dude. And once I get him back, we can listen to Christmas songs all the time together. That sounds like a plan to me.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s close up the shop today. Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you at the treehouse.
