Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

So, MJF accepts MVP’s offer to join the Hurt Syndicate, but Bobby Lashley says no. Thoughts?

We’ll probably see a tease between Lashley and MJF for a while, eventually being reluctant partners if MVP can convince Lashley to give MJF a chance, and MJF, who will never forgive the slight, pulls a Judas and turns on MVP, thus turning the Hurt Syndicate babyface. I’m just speculating, but that works as well as anything else, right?

Where does Savage/Steamboat rank among the best WrestleMania matches?

It’s not my personal favorite and a bit overhyped, but it was a solid match that brought a lot of fans to the audience and inspired a lot of future wrestlers. I’ll place it in the Top 10 just for the sake of notoriety. Maybe #3?

Should AEW bring Cedric Alexander in to be part of the Hurt Syndicate?

Cedric is a very good wrestler and was a big part of The Hurt Syndicate during their previous WWE run. He would be a welcome addition to AEW and his former partners.

Is Charlotte Flair the best in the game right now? Would you say she’s better than John Cena and Cody Rhodes? Ric Flair thinks so. Thoughts?

Of course, Ric would say that. We’re talking about his daughter. And Charlotte is very good, far better than she has any right to be. But is she better than Cena or Cody? No, I don’t think so.

What do you think? Should WWE go all-in with Evolution again? Or is it too late to recapture that magic?

With all of the available talent in WWE, NXT, TNA, plus legends, this is the perfect time to bring it all together and have a great event. I’m happy to see WWE will be bringing this PLE back and they should go wild to make it the biggest and best show possible.

Would you vote for The Rock if he ran for president?

I don’t know his political views so I can’t say for sure. What party is he affiliated with? What are his political views? What are his social views? Who is on the opposing team and his political opponent? Who is his running mate? Too many questions would have to be answered before I could make an informed decision about The Rock for any political office, much less the job of President.

What’s your pro wrestling dream match?

I have many dream matches, but how about this one? The Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton, Stan Lane, Dennis Condrey) w/ Jim Cornette, versus The Bloodline (Roman Reigns, Jimmy & Jey Uso) w/ Paul Heyman. Would that be an awesome match or what?

Former WWE and TNA Announcer Josh Matthews was backstage at AEW Dynamite this past week. Do you think Josh will be joining the AEW Announce team?

Matthews is a good announcer and far better than the majority of the current announcers AEW currently employs. I would like to see him and AEW have a conversation. He would be a positive asset to the company and the AEW announcing booth.

TNA has signed Maggie Lee. Thoughts?

Honestly, I had no idea who Maggie Lee was, so I looked her up. 22 years old. Wrestling for two years. Trained by Seth Rollins. Solid matches and a lot of praise from her peers and the fans. And now, she’s in TNA. She has quite the potential and pedigree based on what I’ve read. It’ll be interesting to see how she develops as she gains more experience and confidence. I’ll have to keep my eyes on this one. She has all the potential to be a major name one day.

WWE has hired Mark Shunock as the new ring announcer for Smackdown. Thoughts?

Shunrock is the former Host and Announcer for Top Rank Boxing, and spent many years working for ESPN, so he definitely has the experience and background to work and announce for WWE. It sucks that he’s replacing Lilian Garcia, but Lilian will still be with WWE, and I can see wanting to have some new blood on the support team and roster. From what little I’ve seen, Shunrock knows his stuff and has a great announcing voice. We’ll just have to wait and see how this goes.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects, and I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
