Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

WWE has announced that Wrestlemania 13’s No Holds Barred Match between Steve Austin and Bret Hart will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Thoughts?

It was a great match and took Stone Cold Steve Austin to the next level. It stands the test of time and inspired a lot of people. It’s a good pick. No arguments here.

Have you seen the crazy drama with Linda Hogan and Brooke Hogan? Thoughts?

Unfortunately, I have seen it. Linda Hogan went on Instagram and did the whole “Woe is me!” thing, blaming how bad her life has become on Hulk Hogan and her daughter Brooke, who hasn’t spoken to her in nearly 8 years. Brooke fired back and made her own claims. That is one messed up family. It seems that Nick Hogan is the most rational and sane one of the bunch, and we all remember how he used to be. This is just a sad, family drama that Linda decided to put out there for the world to see. Pure, absolute insanity.Nothing more.

What should be the second match to enter the WWE Hall of Fame?

While I personally would prefer the WeeLC match between Hornswoggle and El Torito from WWE Extreme Rules 2014, I’m probably the only one who would pick that match. So, let’s go with Steamboat/Savage from WrestleMania III. It’s an easy no-brainer.

In the WWE/Janel Grant/Vince McMahon legal drama, do you think WWE should be forced to turn over documents and travel records, or should the case go straight to private arbitration?

All of the original legal agreements between Vince, WWE, and Janel Grant say that any disputes belong in arbitration. That should be where this all goes to be settled.

Is Rey Mysterio the greatest Luchador of all time?

Rey is one of the best in modern history but of all time? Legends like El Santo, Mil Mascaras, Juventud Guerrera, The American Love Machine Art Barr, Konnan, Silver King, La Parka, and Vampiro, among others, might disagree. And besides, how can a deadbeat Dad be considered the best when he allegedly didn’t even take care of his own son properly?

Now that the two main events for WrestleMania are set, what do you think the 2 opening matches should be?

One of them should be Gunther versus Jey Usp for the World Championship. And the other? I’ll say Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton.

CM Punk says that being in Mania’s main event is not the favor Heyman owes him. So, what will that favor be?

I’m sure that it involves the World Championship or the WWE Championship, so I’ll say a title match against one of the two reigning champions at WWE Backlash.

Do you think we’ll eventually see the TNA Tag Team Champions, Matt & Jeff Hardy, defending their titles on either RAW, Smackdown or a WWE PLE? And if so, against who?

We’ve already seen Matt and Jeff defend the TNA Tag Team Championships on an NXT event, so can a main roster PLE be far behind? If it was anyone else, I’d say no, but since it’s Matt & Jeff, it will most likely happen. As for who they’ll face, UpTown Downtown is always a great choice. Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston, aka The New Day, would make for a great match as well.

AEW and TNT are moving AEW Collision from its usual Saturday night spot during WrestleMania week to Tuesday night not to run opposite WrestleMania. Thoughts?

They don’t want to see Collisiongt demolished in the ratings. This is a good move by AEW. It still won’t do as well as the usual time, especially since it’ll be airing directly against NXT during WrestleMania week and their go-home show for the Stand & Deliver PLE, taking place on Saturday afternoon before WrestleMania, Night 1. But at least AEW is trying.

If the Ric Flair Act passes in NC and they build a museum and Hall of Fame, where should it be located? Should it be mainly Mid-Atlantic-based wrestlers or wrestling as a whole? And who would you induct as the first six members of this Hall of Fame?

Given the history of the NWA and Jim Crockett Promotions in North Carolina, the focus should be mostly on the Mid-Atlantic region and its long history. Some focus for the NWA as well, but the major points of interest should be Crockett-related. The ideal location would be somewhere in Charlotte, but Greensboro would be a suitable alternative. As for who would be the first six HOF inductees, I’d go with Ric Flair, Jim Crockett Jr., The Anderson Brothers, Ole & Gene, Johnny Weaver & George Becker, Rick Steamboat, and Bob Caudle.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects, and I’ll see you at the matches.
