Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

Who will be the WWE Undisputed Champion on December 31, 2025?

That’s a long time away and it’s hard to predict that far ahead. I don’t think it will be Cody or John Cena. CM Punk is a possible answer, but my gut doesn’t agree with the Best in the World either. Let’s go out on a limb here. Drew McIntyre.

Charlotte Flair isn’t the only child of Ric Flair who set foot in the ring. What happened to her brother, David?

After ten years of trying to be a wrestler, David retired in 2009 and currently lives in Shelby, NC. He’s married with two children and doesn’t do anything wrestling-related these days that I could find. I believe he works in law enforcement.

Do you think The Miz deserves a spot at WrestleMania 41?

Considering how stacked the WWE roster is right now, I doubt we’ll see Miz involved in any kind of match at WrestleMania. But he is a top name for the company and one of their best representatives, so I expect we’ll see him involved in the show. Maybe it’s just a cameo or backstage appearance, but The Miz will be there, representing. And do you know why? Because he’s… (wait for it)… AWESOME!

Do you think Kevin Knight made the right call joining AEW over WWE?

Most likely, he probably did. Knight is unknown for the most part in the United States. If he came to WWE, he’d be down in NXT to build his name recognition and earn a spot on the main roster. In AEW, he automatically gets a push, a few big matches, and probably a bigger paycheck. WWE is for the long game. AEW is for the quick one.

With credit to Dark Side of the Ring, why did Ludvig Borga have “Exit Only” tattooed on his butt?

I saw a video clip of Jim Cornette speaking on this, and Corny was on fire. Borga, real name Tony Halme, wrestled for a while, boxed for a while, and got involved in politics in his native Finland. His time in office revealed Halme to be very anti-gay and homophobic. I guess that the tattoo was his way of making sure that everyone knew his feelings about gays and showing what a badass, aka idiot, he truly could be. Halme died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in January 2010.

Now that WWE is bringing in new Luchadors, how about a WWE run for El Generico?

That would be cool. I heard he’s available right now. All WWE would have to do is contact Generico’s long-time associate Sami Zayn, and I’m sure that something could be worked out.

Do you think John Cena should bring back the spinner title?

If Cena does win the WWE Universal Championship at Mania, he has to bring back the Spinner title. That is almost a must.

What do you think—will the WWE ID system change the game for indie wrestling, or is it just a branding move?

It will change the lives and prospects of several independent talents who may otherwise have never gotten noticed by the WWE. That’s for sure. But aside from that aspect of it, I don’t see it as a major game-changing deal for anyone else.

Do you think AEW has dropped the ball with Deonna Purrazzo?

Is she still even under contract with AEW? To be honest, I had forgotten that Purrazzo was even part of that company. It’s not like they actually use her regularly or have her wrestle on television often. Yeah, AEW has dropped the ball big time. In TNA, she was a champion. In WWE, she would be regularly featured. In AEW, she’s under contract, but that’s about it.

During WrestleMania weekend, Bret Hart will become the only 3-time WWE Hall of Famer. Thoughts?

It’s an honor well deserved for the best there is, was, and ever will be. Congratulations to the Hitman.
