Every day, my Twitter feed is filled with dozens of random questions. This is where I provide the answers. It’s Ultimate X Q&A. Let’s do this.

Is Mac & Cheese a side dish or a full meal?

Usually, I’ll fix the Mac & Cheese as a side dish, but there have been moments that I’ve used it as the complete meal too. It depends on the situation, how much time I have, and how hungry I am.

What do you love the most about yourself?

I’m a good egg and have a good heart. I think that’s a pretty cool thing about me.

Did you do anything completely out of character in the past few weeks?

Nope, The past few months have been pretty much just going through the motions and business as usual. I’m too tired for change and breaking routine right now.

Have you ever eaten in the bath?

No, I can’t say that I have. I have drunk beer in the shower before, plus I’ve had things in my mouth while showering with an ex, but I never actually ate anything that I can remember. Oops. I just thought of something. So, the answer would be yes.

What’s something you want right now but don’t have the money?

A night or two at the motel, just away from everyone and everything here at the homestead, where I can relax, recharge, and not have constant criticism, judgment, and pressure hanging over me. I just need a short break.

Who was playing at the first concert you attended?

It was Greensboro, NC with Charlie Rich as the headliner. Opening for Rich was Willie Nelson.

What is better than sex?

Just holding him in my arms, relaxed and feeling loved. Sex is good, but the intimacy and contact of a solid, firm, flesh-on-flesh, with no pressures or stress is even better. It makes me feel safe, relaxed and cared for in a way that a simple booty call never could.

If you made a Mount Rushmore of your favorite comedians of all time, who would be on it?

Joan Rivers, Don Rickles, Rodney Dangerfield, and Brad Williams.

If money was no object, what is one thing you’d buy?

The local radio station. I want my own WKRP, where I could broadcast, record, entertain, and be creative, plus provide a service to the community, as well as jobs for my more creative and inspirational friends, such as Kenneth, Michael, Bill, Derk, Tian, Brent, and a few others. It would be an amazing experience.

What’s the hardest words for you to say?

Help me. Or I love you. If I manage to say either of those, it’s real. Believe that!

Should women take their husband’s surname when they get married?

That depends on the couple and what they, the husband and wife, agree upon and feel is best. If I was marrying a woman, Lord help me, I’d probably want her to take my last name. And when I eventually marry a man, I’ll try to reach a compromise, with maybe a hyphenated combination of both our names or whatever works best for us. But I’d want them to take my name in some capacity.

Call or text?

Text for sure. I hate talking on a damn phone.

What’s your signature dish that you love to cook for others?

My specialties are baked beans, Tater Tot Casserole, or Chili. And once a year, usually Thanksgiving, I’ll go all out and make the full meal of turkey, devilled eggs, baked beans, stuffing, Green Bean Casserole, Mac & Cheese, and whatever else my mind thinks of. So, we’ll just be snacking most of the year, and then once a year, we munch big time.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s close up the shop today. Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you at the pawn shop.
