Every day, my Twitter feed is filled with dozens of random questions. This is where I provide the answers. It’s the Ultimate X Q&A. It’s number 103. Let’s do this.
If you could go on tour with any band or artist (past or present), who would it be?
Aside from the obvious, I think I’d go out with Dr. Hook. Besides making great music and putting on fantastic shows, they always looked to be having fun.
What is the meaning of life?
Follow your dreams, be the best that you can be, and always try to make the lives of every person you meet in your journey better.
What song is mandatory at your funeral?
This River, by Danny Aiello.
Would you rather have your dishes or clothes be magically clean?
I hate dirty dishes, but I hate doing laundry too. This one is tough. I wash my dishes as I go along so they don’t pile up. Unfortunately, with laundry, that isn’t an option. Let’s go with the magically clean clothes.
What would your perfect meal look like?
Fried Chicken, Mac & Cheese, Potato Salad, and Baked Beans, with a few very special people sitting next to and across from me.
How do you enjoy spending your alone time?
Reading, writing, listening to music, and sleeping.
What’s your comfort movie or show?
If I’m feeling stressed or miserable, watching Family Guy or clips from the Big Bang Theory can always cheer me up. Watching Shameless seems to work quite well too.
What’s something you’ve always wanted to learn how to do?
Tap dance. I used to try, but I had no idea what the hell I was doing.
Should illegal immigrants get “due process”?
They didn’t use the system and due process to enter the country, so why should they expect it when getting tossed out? It can’t work both ways. Illegal aliens are not citizens, and thus, do not deserve the same rights as a legal citizen would receive.
Can friends have a sexual relationship and keep it on that friendship level?
It’s not always easy, but it can be done. I’ve had many casual bromances over the years where we looked out for each other, but it was strictly a buddy/friend deal out of convenience more than anything else. And that was how it should be.
Have you ever made a mixtape for someone?
I used to be a master of mixed tapes, combining country, rock, jazz, soul, and anything else I liked, and I did it for many people. For a few years, mixed tapes were my thing.
At your age, what’s the perfect gift?
The pleasure of good company and knowing that someone actually gives a damn is all I need from anyone. Material stuff, I’ll take care of myself.
You and your friends go out for a bite to eat. The bill was $142 assuming that the service was average how much would you tip here? Do you tip more for good service or always the same?
I’d probably tip $15-$20. If the service was really good, I’d tip more. And if the service was really bad, I’d tip less, but I try to be fair and accommodating without going wild.
You’re taking a three-week road trip with one actor, one singer, one comic, and one politician. Who are your traveling companions?
Johnny Depp, Alice Cooper, Brad Williams, and Madison Cawthorn (R-NC).
And there you go. Thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s close up the shop today. Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you at the Intervention.
