Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

Do you think WWE should continue to do more Roast of WrestleMania in the future?

If they’re recorded, aired on Netflix for revenue, and part of the package for all WWE fans, then sure thing. But if they’re going to be buried and thrown under the bus as this past one way, then forget about it. It isn’t worth the time.

Do you think Meiko Satomura deserves a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame?

Who? She’s a big star in Japan and is retiring after thirty years, but no casual WWE fan would have a clue as to who she is. She could be thrown in under the Legacy label, but aside from that, nope.

Do you think Dominik Mysterio is the greatest luchador of this generation?

Dom is a very good and an excellent character. He gets it and the fans get him. He’s going to be a huge star for many years to come. But the greatest Luchadore? I’m sure he’d disagree if asked, but I don’t think so.

What do you think about Indi Hartwell picking TNA over other options?

TNA knows how to showcase women wrestlers, plus with the recent agreements in place, there are crossovers with WWE and opportunities to still be on WWE events. If she went to AEW, she’d wrestle maybe ten times and then sit at home for a year, once the new wore off. TNA is the right decision.

What feud would you like to see Cody Rhodes involved in when he returns?

Cody has issues to settle with Cena of course, but a one-on-one feud with Jacob Fatu could be fun. And how about the American Nightmare versus The Bulgarian Brute, with Cody versus Rusev? That would be great too.

What are your thoughts on Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair’s rivalry and how it ended? Do you want them to feud again in the future?

As heated as it got, one match can’t be the end. I expect we’ll see them fighting each other again. There is too much-unsettled business to let it end this quickly.

Do you think Joe Hendry can keep riding this insane wave of success or will it eventually die off?

Everything ends at some point, but I hope Hendy’s popularity continues for some time to come and he continues to ride the wave until there is nothing left. And then, with some tweaking of his character, and some minor changes, he catches another wave and rides it again. Hendry is lightning in a bottle and deserves all the success in the world.

So Liv Morgan is taking time off to make a movie, but she and Raquel Rodriguez are the Women’s Tag Team Champions. So, are the belts not defended and ignored while Liv is away, or does Raquel get a substitute partner to team with for title defenses? If so, then who?

I’m sure that Liv will make the occasional appearances to speak on the mic, make her presence felt, and support Judgment Day. I doubt we’ll see many titled defenses, but I’d love to see someone step up to team with Raquel to defend the titles, plus maybe catch Dirty Dom’s roving eyes. As for who, Raquel has a great history with Dakota Kai. She would be great in the role of a replacement Liv in Judgment Day.

If Liv is taking time off to do a movie, will Dirty Dom be trying to talk to other Divas in her absence?

Look at my previous answer. It’s Dirty Dominik and he’s a hardened criminal. He can’t be trusted and has those roving eyes. I think Liv better make sure Dom has a babysitter while she’s away, or she may end up being replaced.

You get to pick the next six guests for Chris Van Vliet’s Insight program. Who would you have Chris interview?

I’ll try and keep this realistic as to who is actually possible and would make for a great discussion rather than just naming names. Six names? Brock Lesnar, Disco Inferno, Sammy Guevera & Tay Melo, FTR, Johnny Curtis (Fandango, Dirty Dango), and Jacob Fatu.

At Survivor Series, would you rather see traditional Survivor Series matches or the War Games main event?

Why not have both? A War Games match as the main event, plus a WWE or World Championship match, and then 3-4 traditional Survivor Series matches to round out the card. That’s six matches, which is about right for current WWE PLEs. It’d run about 4 hours, which is long, but not nearly as long as many other shows run, plus it checks all the boxes for both the hardcore and casual WWE fans. Works for me.
