Every day, my Twitter feed is filled with dozens of random questions. This is where I provide the answers. It’s the Ultimate X Q&A. My, how the time has flown by. It’s number 112. Let’s do this.
What is the most efficient money-saving habit you have?
Is it a habit? I don’t spend money that I don’t have. I don’t waste money or spend on unnecessary items. I pay my bills first, as soon as I get my check, and then I balance my money as the rest of the month proceeds. I use common sense and try to be smart with my money. If that’s a habit, so be it.
If you were forced to spend the rest of your life in a library, a museum, or a zoo, which would you select and why?
Easily, a library. This one isn’t even close.
How do you feel after a one-night stand?
A subtle rush of energy, and then the high fades, and it’s back to business as usual. It matters more about who the person is and what follows than the actual act itself.
What are you starting to like more and more as you get older?
The few moments that I do manage to spend with those certain people in my life. I’ve always enjoyed my friends and family, but as I’m getting older, the love and appreciation for those few people constantly grows.
Name a chore that you did when you were little that kids today have never done?
When I was a kid, I dusted furniture, swept, vacuumed, made beds, cleaned the bathroom, did dishes, took out trash, mowed grass, washed clothes, and did whatever needed to be done. Everyone did their part in our family to keep the house and yard clean. That’s the way it should be.
What’s the last YouTube video you watched?
As I’m writing this, I’m listening to Stevie Richards talk about a chair shot he did on JBL a few years ago. And the last video I watched was Alice Cooper, and ‘I Might As Well Be On Mars’.
What’s the saddest movie you’ve ever watched?
Bambi. The hunters killed Bambi’s mother; those bastards!
Do you remember where you were when you heard that Michael Jackson had passed away?
I was working that day, in my little box at Murphy USA, and the news broke on the radio.
What is the worst reply to “I love you”?
Either just a shrug or snarky, “I know!”. Both responses would suck.
Name the best movie you’ve ever seen that is about self-destruction.
The Basketball Diaries, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Mark Wahlberg. Leo plays a drug addict, and we see the journey down, watch him hit rock bottom, and the recovery. It’s a damn good movie.
Are you scared to die?
At times, yes. And at other times, I look forward to the experience. My moods change moment to moment, and with those mood swings, my fears or lack of change as well.
What’s the hardest drug you’ve ever tried?
During my wilder and crazier days, I was never a big drug user, always preferring the taste of a cold beer, but I did experiment on occasion. I smoked grass, tried acid, took a few pills, snorted coke once, and shot up once with something I don’t remember exactly what it was. And I was around many crack smokers, but I never did that. The only effects I felt from that were second-hand. So, I tried the different things, realized it wasn’t for me, and moved on. The hardest? Probably Flintstone Chewable Vitamins. Those Dinos had a strong kick to them.
What is your favorite Michael Jackson song?
It’s a tough call because Michael had so many great songs, it’s hard to pick just one. But I think I’ll go with this one, about a rat named Ben.
Bacon, Ham, or Sausage for breakfast?
It’s all good, but I think sausage is my favorite of the three.
Does anyone really like fruitcake?
They keep making it and selling it, so I guess someone does. It’s not me, but I’m sure that someone does.
If someone gave you 10 million dollars to never watch another NFL, MLB, NHL, and NBA game for the rest of your life, would you do it?
I don’t watch any of those anyhow, so go get paid to not watch them? Hell yes, sign me up. I watch wrestling, college basketball (UNC), and occasionally gymnastics. The rest of that stuff, not so much. So, where is my check?
Do you think there are members of Congress and the Senate on the Epstein List?
Members of Congress, the Senate, former Presidents, and most of Hollywood. That is why the names on the so-called Epstein List haven’t been released yet, nor will they probably ever be.
How corrupt do you think the U.S. political system actually is on a scale from 1 to 10?
Usually, I would say that there isn’t such a thing as a perfect 10, but in terms of the United States political system and corruption, I’ll make an exception. How corrupt is our Government and U.S. politics? I’ll give it a perfect 10.
And there you go. Thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s close up the shop today. Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you at the pig pickin’.
