Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

What would you say was the best Bobby Eaton tag team that was not The Midnight Express?

Bobby won tag team gold with and/or teamed regularly with Leaping Lanny Poffo, George Gulas, Sweet Brown Sugar (Skip Young), Arn Anderson, Tony Halme (in Japan), Chris Benoit, Steve Keirn, Lord Steven (William) Regal, and Rikki Nelson during his long and illustrious career. Most of these were pre-WCW teams in Memphis or the Mid-South and were never recognized as successful. In my opinion, the best teams that were not the Midnight Express were either his Dangerous Alliance team with Arn Anderson or as part of the Blue Bloods with Lord Steven Regal. Those two partnerships were off the charts. It’s a hard choice, but those vignettes still make me laugh. Let’s go with the team of The Blue Bloods.

What would be your reaction if Logan Paul wins the World Championship from Jey Uso at SNME 2026?

I’d probably just sigh, take a sip of my Pepsi Zero, and go, “Well, damn!”

Darby Allin is the very first Pro Wrestler ever to reach the top of Mt Everest! Thoughts?

And he even posted a picture of an AEW Banner being planted into the ground to claim that spot for his company. Mt. Everest is All Elite. Congratulations to Darby for a mission accomplished!

Kevin Owens says he still hasn’t had neck surgery yet. What the hell is he waiting for? Thoughts?

Most likely, Kevin is just exploring all of his options and trying to make sure that he makes the best decision for his future, both personally and professionally. I can’t blame him for that.

According to Kevin Nash, Cody Hall was forced to quit wrestling after having his neck broken during a botched stunt involving one of the Young Bucks jumping off a balcony and breaking Hall’s neck. Thoughts?

Stupid, dangerous stunts that no one remembers ten minutes later, and it cost a man his career. I hate it for Cody, but I’m not surprised at all. Chalk one more for the elite of AEW. Another career is ruined and brought to a crashing halt.

Who is your favorite AEW star right now?

Right now, it’s Powerhouse Hobbs or Dustin Rhodes. Dustin is a legend, and Hobbs will be a major star one day. The guy has amazing potential.

Who is your favorite WWE star right now?

This one is much harder because WWE is on fire right now and has plenty of great talents worth watching. I’d say it’s a tie between Dominik Mysterio and Grayson Waller.

Do you think Triple H books tag team wrestling in WWE better than Vince McMahon did?

Vince McMahon hated tag team wrestling, and it showed with every tag team match that was aired on a WWE show. Triple H has done a much better job, and I suspect that if he actually had the time to focus only on tag team wrestling, instead of running the entire show, we would be in a golden era for tag team wrestling right now. There are so many talented teams in WWE right now, there isn’t time enough to feature all of them. Triple H does the best job, by far.

Do you want to see Victoria Crawford pull up on WWE NXT?

Victoria Crawford, formerly known as Alicia Fox, has always been a favorite character of mine dating back several years. I’d love to see her make a few appearances on NXT. It would be great.

What do you think about Mickie James potentially taking on a creative role in wrestling?

Mickie James has long shown that she’s a talented wrestler and has a great mind for the business. Passion like that cannot be ignored or tossed away because of Mickie winding down on the active-wrestling part of her career. A role as a trainer, an agent, or a member of the creative team would be a great move and option for Mickie.
