Coming up on Sunday afternoon, streaming live on Zone·ify, available on Roku, Fire TV, Google Android TV, Comcast Xfinity TV, Cox Contour TV, Rogers Xfinity TV, Videotron Helix TV, Buckeye and MaxxSouth TV, Smart TVs, mobile devices, and online, live from Niagara Falls, NY, is TNA Border Brawl.

This show would make a great warm-up event for either NXT Battleground or AEW Double or Nothing, both of which are airing later the same night. It’s themed as the USA versus Canada, with Rampage Jackson and Kelly Kelly coaching the States and Jacques Rougeau and Allie coaching Canada. Nine matches are advertised, and since TNA is sponsoring the event, let’s make a few predictions.

Nic Nemeth (USA) vs. Santino Marella (Canada) – Flag Match.

A flag match means pure comedy, and nobody does comedy matches better than Santino.

Winner: Santino Marella (Canada).

Matt Hardy (USA) vs. Eric Young (Canada)

I think Terrance and Phillip would support Young. Matt just wants to DELETE everything. I think Matt may get deleted.

Winner: Eric Young (Canada).

Tessa Blanchard (USA) vs. Jody Threat (Canada).

Tessa is a star. Threat? Not so much. I think Tessa will eliminate any threat.

Winner: Tessa Blanchard (USA).

Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards (with Alisha Edwards) (USA) vs. Judas Icarus & Travis Williams (Canada).

I think the Canucks need to win at least one. This one should be it.

Winners: Judas Icarus & Travis Williams (Canada).

Hardcore Match: Tommy Dreamer (USA) vs. Champagne Singh (Canada).

Tommy Dreamer may be the innovator of violence, but he shouldn’t be wrestling hardcore matches or any matches at all. I don’t know who Champagne Singh even is, but I like Champagne. It always makes me wake up next to a new friend.

Winner: Champagne Singh (Canada).

Victoria Crawford (USA) vs. Courtney Rush (Canada).

When I hear the name, Courtney, it reminds me of a Karen-in-training that I once worked with many years ago. She got on my nerves. Victoria reminds me of Vee from Shameless. I like Shameless.

Winner: Victoria Crawford (USA).

Moose & JDC (USA) vs. Channing Decker & Jesse Bieber (Canada).

Is Jesse any relation to Justin? So, does that make Decker Puff Daddy? Damn, freaks! I’ll go with the favorite wrestlers of Bullwinkle and Lawrence Welk for this one.

Winners: Moose & JDC (USA).

Frankie Kazarian (USA) vs. Cody Deaner (Canada).

Spoiler alert! If Deaner is wrestling here, he must have won his match on Friday night at Under Siege and still has a TNA Contract. I guess we’re not supposed to notice that. My bad! But everyone loves a winner, so let’s go with the winner.

Winner: Cody Deaner (Canada).

Sami Callihan (USA) vs. William Trudeau (w/ The Personal Concierge) (Canada).

Canada has won too many matches. Sami can bring this one home for the USA.

Winner: Sami Callihan (USA).
