Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

Despite a prior announcement, WrestleMania 42 is no longer being held in New Orleans. So, where do you think it will happen?

Based on some reports I’ve seen, it seems as if WrestleMania will return to Las Vegas next year. I’ve also seen some speculate about London, England. I’d love to see Mania at Wembley Stadium, but I think Vegas makes more sense.

Should Tony Khan step in and book a major event, maybe a PPV, in New Orleans for WrestleMania weekend, to take advantage of the void left by WWE and WrestleMania moving?

It would be good business and make sense if he did. I hope Tony and AEW do step up and fill that void.

Natalya recently revealed that she’s asked to do some work in WWE Evolve. Thoughts?

First, it was Bloodsport, and then the NWA. And now Evolve? This would be a great way to allow Natalya to pass her knowledge to the Evolve talents, plus help bring more eyes to the brand. I hope that WWE allows her to do as she asks.

Alex Wright versus Fandango. Who wins?

This match would be a classic and steal the show at any arena. Alex was a very good wrestler in his prime, and I’ve often heard many sing the praises of Johnny Curtis, the man behind the Fandango character. And just imagine the pre-match dance-off. Awesome! A great match by two very underrated talents. A tough call to pick a winner, but I think I’ll go with Alex for the win.

Charlotte Flair was originally cast to play the role of June Beyers in the “Queen of the Ring” movie, but was pulled by WWE and Vince McMahon. Thoughts?

This would have been some interesting casting and may have opened a lot of doors for Charlotte in Hollywood. Too bad that Vince said no and stopped it before it happened. I’m so glad that crazy old man is gone.

Bryan Danielson versus Flyin’ Brian Pillman. Who wins?

The American Dragon versus The Loose Cannon. A fun match for sure, this would be. Pillman was the better character, but Danielson was the better wrestler. Danielson would win.

What’s your take on Triple H’s leadership in WWE?

Compared to Vince, it’s a major improvement and step up. Vince ran the company like a dictatorship where everyone walked on eggshells constantly. Triple H runs the company like a business, delegates authority, and is much more open-minded to trying new and different things. I think Hunter is doing an excellent job.

Do you think allowing talents to work outside of WWE is best for business?

If WWE isn’t using the talent regularly, let them work with other promotions. It expands the WWE name, allows more eyes on the WWE wrestlers, and helps the other promotions at the same time. It’s a win for everyone involved and truly is best for business.

What’s your take on Triple H’s retirement from pro wrestling? Does it still sting that he will never wrestle again, or is he where he needs to be?

It does suck that Triple H never had a final match or a chance to say goodbye, but things have worked out for the best. Since he doesn’t have to worry about his spot anymore, Hunter can focus on everyone’s stories and characters and book what he feels is best for the WWE with no personal ego involved. Triple H is where he belongs and needs to be.

Do you want to see Nyla Rose back on AEW TV soon?

No, I don’t.
