The tradition continues as WWE presents Saturday Night’s Main Event, live from Tampa, Florida, on NBC, Peacock, and Netflix for international audiences on Saturday, May 24. And once again, it’s time to attempt to guess what will and will not transpire. It’s prediction time. Let’s do this.

This match was added, via SmackDown.

WWE Women’s United States Championship
Zelina Vega (c) versus Chelsea Green.

And here we go, added to the show with less than a day to go, as if WWE suddenly realized that there weren’t any women wrestling on the show. I like Vega, and she has spunk, but I think we’ll see history made with this match. Not only the first, and not only the longest reigning but at SNME, Chelsea Green becomes the first two-time WWE Women’s United States Champion. And Matt Cardona says, somewhere in the distance, ‘Woo Woo Woo! You Know It!’.

Winner and NEW WWE Women’s United States Champion: Chelsea Green.

World Heavyweight Championship Match
Jey Uso (c) versus Logan Paul.

Logan has all the makings of a big star and will be the World Champion one day. But it won’t be today. It’s too early to have Jey Uso lose that title. I think we might see Gunther cause a distraction or two, but the winner remains the same. YEET!

Winner and STILL WWE World Champion: Jey Uso.

Non-TItle Match
WWE Champion John Cena versus R-Truth.

The key here is that this is a non-title match. So even if the comedy wrestler beats his childhood hero, the belt stays with John. Can you imagine how much the internet will blow up if Truth wins? I think it’s going to happen. It might take a distraction by Cody to set up a rematch between Cena and Cody at Money in the Bank in two weeks, but whatever it takes, it still counts. Little Jimmy is going to be so happy.

Winner: R-Truth.

Steel Cage Match
Damian Priest versus Drew McIntyre.

Drew has shown time and time again that win or lose, he’s Teflon and will be okay. Priest needs a good win, and in the cage, he most likely will get it.

Winner: Damian Priest.

CM Punk & Sami Zayn vs. Seth Rollins & Bron Breakker w/ Paul Heyman.

This is a tough call because it’s hard to imagine any of these wrestlers losing, but so long as the match is good, it really doesn’t matter who wins or loses. I’ll look at it like this. Seth and Breakker are part of a faction. Punk and Sami don’t team together regularly. I think it’s time for the third man to be introduced to add to Heyman’s unit. So, look for a distraction or blatant interference by a party yet unknown to determine the ending of this match. And the winners? Seth and Bron Breakker.

Winners: Seth Rollins & Bron Breakker w/ Paul Heyman.

And there you go with my predictions of what will happen Saturday night. So, what are yours? Let me know, along with any other questions, comments, thoughts, etc. I’ll be back soon with more predictions for WWE NXT Battleground and AEW Double or Nothing. Yeah, the old Magic 8-Ball is getting a workout this weekend. Thanks for reading and the continued support here at the site. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And I guess that’s all for now. I’ll see you at the matches.
