Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

After being out of action for a year, The Work Horsemen, Anthony Henry & JD Drake, have been cleared and are ready for action. Thoughts?

Who? I had forgotten that they were even a part of AEW. Or was it ROH? It doesn’t matter really. Welcome back!

Where do The Young Bucks rank among the greatest tag teams in wrestling history?

For me personally, they don’t rank at all. History covers a lot of territory and a lot of great tag teams. I just don’t consider The Young Bucks as one of those teams.

As of now, Friday night, NXT Battleground has sold more tickets than AEW Double Or Nothing. Thoughts?

NXT has a better product and presentation. AEW has some good talent, but the card is so long, how will anything stand out and be memorable? NXT presents good matches, and good stories, and leaves room for anticipation of what might come next. Battleground is selling more seats than Double or Nothing? I’m not surprised.

What are your thoughts on the WWE Women’s Money in the Bank participants so far? Giulia, Alexa Bliss, Roxanne Perez, and Rhea Ripley.

It’s looking to be a packed match with many of the top women in WWE, as it should be. I have no complaints about any of the participants scheduled as of yet.

The Wyatt Sicks are back. Thoughts?

For several weeks, I’ve been saying that the Wyatts were a lost cause and pretty much dead in the water. Well, I was wrong. I watched SmackDown last and when the Wyatt Sicks showed up, the crowd popped. I literally got goosebumps. And they went after everyone. It was a big moment and the return had a great start. I’m excited and looking forward to seeing how this all moves forward and develops.

Bill DeMott versus The Assassin versus Ole Anderson. Who wins?

Three men who were all well known for their loving ways and love of people backstage. All three were also classic heels. Well, two out of three anyhow. This match wouldn’t be pretty, but it would be fun to see. Who wins? I’ll go with the Assassin and a loaded mask headbutt on DeMott to get the victory.

Who is your all-time favorite mid-carder?

It’s hard to narrow it down to just one person, but the names that come to mind almost immediately would be Disco Inferno, Heath Slater, Matt Cardona, and Curtis Axel.

Candice LeRae is back with DIY, aka Johnny Gargano & Tomasso Ciampa. Thoughts?

If DIY is set to fight with the Wyatt Six, they need someone for Nikki Cross to play with. Candice was allied with Gargano and Ciampa in NXT, so it makes sense for her to be allied with them now. Good call by the WWE.

How do you feel about Las Vegas becoming the semi-regular home for WrestleMania?

Since Vegas is the home city for TKO, this makes sense. While I would prefer to see WrestleMania move around each year, I can see the logic in this move as well. I have no problems with it.

On SmackDown, WWE announced that Legado Del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Angel Garza, and Humberto Carrillo) will be facing AAA’s El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Psycho Clown, and Pagano at the When World’s Collide event in June. Thoughts?

Garza is a third-generation Luchadore and his family history in Mexico is legendary, so this makes great sense. I was expecting to see WWE load up the card with some of their Latino talent, and I see I was correct. I expect we’ll see the LWO, Andrade, and maybe even Dominik Mysterio added to the event before the final card is revealed. This definitely looks like it will be a historical show, with WWE fingerprints all over it.

Ubuntu!
