Every day, my Twitter feed is filled with dozens of random questions. This is where I provide the answers. It’s the Ultimate X Q&A. My, how the time has flown by. It’s number 121, and I’m still standing. Let’s do this.
What’s something every parent should teach their child by age 10?
Basic cooking skills, household chores, how to shoot a gun, the essentials.
When was the last time you shared a toothbrush with someone else?
I think me and Eric shared one at the motel one night about a year ago.
What’s the most ridiculous thing you’ve ever put on a sandwich?
When I was a kid, I used to enjoy peanut butter and bologna sandwiches. I think that counts as ridiculous.
What’s something you’ve done that you still feel guilty about?
The situation with Eric. I was a freaking idiot! I wish I could go back and change things. He deserves so much better.
What’s the biggest secret you’ve kept from your parents?
I’ve never told them I’m gay. I think they’ve figured it out by now, but I never actually came out to them.
What’s the most ridiculous thing you have an emotional attachment to?
That damn cat of mine. He’s a brat sometimes.
What are you most proud of in your life?
DougMaynard.com. This website was a whim, and I’ve kept it going for over twelve years now. That’s pretty cool. And my bro. To see what he’s become over the past decade, the changes he’s made in his life, he’s amazing, and I’m so very proud of this guy.
Have you ever hit someone?
Many times. I used to have a bit of a temper.
What’s your best pickup line?
How you doing? It’s not a line but genuine interest. And it usually works.
What’s the cruelest thing you’ve ever done or said to a romantic partner?
I was an idiot and I hurt Eric. No details, but I was so damn wrong.
Describe Red Lobster biscuits in one word.
Yummy!
What would George Floyd be doing today if he was still alive?
He’d be in prison or be a habitual criminal hiding from the law.
And there you go. Thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s close up the shop today. Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you at the Kingdom Hall.
