Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.
CM Punk had to get in between Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley when they started arguing over Dominik at the Netflix Tudum event. Do you wanna see Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan throw hands again?
Liv and Rhea work well together and have good chemistry. If they wrestle, we’re almost always assured of seeing an entertaining match. So, Rhea versus Liv Morgan? I’m down for that.
Based on their confrontation at the Netflix event, should Adam Pearce make a Women’s Tag Team Championship match for RAW between Rhea and a mystery partner versus Liv & Raquel? Hell, make CM Punk the special referee. Thoughts?
I like this idea of a match, and I’d love to see it come to fruition. But, not on RAW. This sounds like a potential main event for WWE Evolution. Liv & Raquel defending their tag team titles against Rhea and a mystery partner. It’s a money match and makes sense, given their confrontation at the Netflix event and history. And they have the All Women’s PLE coming up so…
Do you think Ric Flair’s explanation that it was “just a joke” holds up? Or is this just another case of trying to dodge responsibility?
Ric is obviously trying to backtrack here. Flair went on X and tweeted that Ross was looking for attention, as always. Allegedly, what set Flair off was a story Ross told about Flair getting naked in a restaurant at a birthday party and generally making a fool of himself, being the Natura Boy. Ric also made a post about getting consent from women before sex. Yeah, Ric was on a roll this weekend, and I’d suspect that alcohol was involved, although, with Flair, it’s hard to tell. Anyhow, Ric took a shot at his “good friend” Jim Ross, got called out on it by fans, and then, after deleting the tweets, is trying to backtrack and make excuses. Just another weekend in the life of the Nature Boy.
Do you think Paul Heyman should be used to elevate newer stars, or is he right where he belongs with WWE’s top names?
At this point in his career, Heyman has earned the right to work with whoever he wants to. Heyman currently is doing the alliance with Seth, plus using his reputation to elevate Breakker and Bronson Reed. He also, behind the scenes, is mentoring many of the younger talents. Paul Heyman can do whatever he wants. That’s one of the benefits of being The Wise Man.
Ron Killings, aka R-Truth, has been released by WWE. Where do you want to see R-Truth go next? Should he bring “Ron the Truth Killings” back to the spotlight? Thoughts?
This is a shocker as I always figured that Truth would be a for-life part of the WWE. I hope that someone in power, Triple H perhaps, intercedes and they end up offering Truth a new deal. Otherwise, the backlash is going to be epic. If the split stands, I’d love to see Truth go to TNA next and maybe take on a more serious role, adding the TNA Championship once again to his resume. I don’t know if Truth will be allowed to use the R-Truth name outside of WWE or not, but if not, then using his real name, Ron ‘The Truth’ Killings, would work quite well.
Do you think there will be enough backlash against TKO by WWE fans to make them change their minds about R-Truth?
Have you seen the backlash on X, as well as the comments from all across the world of pro wrestling? I don’t know if it will be enough to make TKO change its mind since it seems to be a numbers-only company, but I hope so.
Remove one WWE legend forever: Batista, Jeff Hardy, Edge, or Randy Orton?
I’d probably take Jeff Hardy out of the picture. Of the four men listed, he’s had the fewest big moments or career-changing events.
Do you think that WWE views Giulia or Stephanie Vaquer as the bigger star? Who gets the bigger push on the main roster?
Both are big stars and both will get huge pushes by WWE. Who will have it better? We’ll just have to wait and see.
Brock Lesnar versus The Road Warriors in a handicap match. Who wins?
Brock is a monster of a man, but the numbers game would take him down. The Road Warriors would win.
Push, fire, make a tag team, and leave alone: Rhea Ripley, Bayley, Nia Jax, Tamina Snuka, and Liv Morgan.
I’d push Liv Morgan, fire Bayley, make a tag team of Nia Jax & Tamina Snuka, and leave Rhea alone.
