According to sources, The Miz has unfollowed WWE and removed all mentions of WWE from his Twitter Bio. Miz’s contract expires later this year. Thoughts?

Allegedly, his contract expires in July, and currently, Miz is the third-longest contracted wrestler on the WWE roster. Only John Cena and Randy Orton have been there longer. If R-Truth hadn’t been released, I’d say this is a nothing story and ignore it. Now, who can say anything? Miz has already been announced as the new host for a new American Gladiators show coming up on Peacock next year, and he owns the rights to his name, having been calling himself The Miz since his days on The Real World, so he doesn’t need WWE. We’ll just have to watch this one and see how it develops.

Gunther has wiped every reference to WWE from his Twitter account, leaving only a picture of his wife. Thoughts?

Again, who knows? Gunther just signed a new deal this past year, plus is working top spots against Jey Uso, so it’s not like he’s being buried. Like with The Miz, this is a watch-and-see situation.

According to Meltzer, Triple H made the call to release R-Truth and Carlito. Thoughts?

If that’s true, and given the source, I have my doubts, then to Triple H, I say this. You screwed up and made a mistake. Fix it!

Should R-Truth Get Inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame?

He should and eventually, unless he decides to go to AEW first, will sooner rather than later. He’s held over sixty titles in WWE, plus is a former 2-time NWA World Champion. If that doesn’t say, Hall of Fame, I don’t know what would.

Do you think WWE and TKO need to rethink their cost-cutting strategies when it comes to talents?

I understand their point as to younger talent costs less than older talent, and cutting costs, but use some common sense, such as crowd reactions, merchandise sales, and backstage reputation when making these decisions. It all matters.

Thunder Rosa released a video challenging Dr. Britt Baker to a Hair versus Hair match in AEW. Thoughts?

Will AEW even allow or run this match? This would be a great way to get both women back on national television and into the spotlight again. I haven’t seen any mention yet of Baker responding, but if it could happen, I’d like to see it. And if AEW doesn’t want to do it, I’m sure that GCW would gladly step up and promote the event. Let’s keep watching and see how this goes.

Should WWE or TKO publicly address the R-Truth and Carlito situation? Or is the damage already done?

The damage has been done but as a responsible employer, TKO or WWE should attempt to do some damage control and release a statement. Not doing anything just allows the resentment and rumors to build and spread.

Adam Cole versus Diamond Dallas Page. Who wins?

Adam Cole, when allowed to be, can be a good wrestler. Look at his work in ROH and NXT, pre-AEW. The guy has skills and potential. What he’s doing now, I have no idea. DDP is the ultimate overachiever. He had no right to be where he was and beat all expectations. He went from an announcer to a manager to a wrestler and became a World Champion and Hall of Famer. Never take DDP for granted. I think Adam Cole would do exactly that. And he would end up feeling the BANG! DDP wins.

Do you think AJ Francis deserves another run in NXT—or is he better off staying out of WWE’s system altogether?

Francis tried WWE/NXT and he was a flop. He’s found a solid spot in TNA. That’s where he needs to stay.

What do you think? Should AEW launch Women’s Tag Team Titles — or is the division not ready yet?

How many regular women tag teams in AEW can you name off the top of your head? Me neither. AEW has too many belts and not nearly enough talented performers who deserve that spot to support all the titles. No more belts, period!
