Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

Sarah Rowe aka Valhalla (Sarah Logan) announced her WWE exit as the company is letting her contract lapse. Thoughts?

This one is not a surprise. Since her return to WWE, Logan has spent more time out of action, pregnant and injured, than actually wrestling. When was the last time she actually wrestled or had a match? I honestly can’t remember. And she wasn’t over with the fans. I remember when she was Sarah Logan and part of the Riott Squad, and I was a fan. But she hasn’t mattered since then and it makes no sense to give her a new deal. WWE is making the right call with this one.

Which PLE should WWE bring back?

I’d love to see the return of WCW’s Slamboree: A Legend’s Reunion. Add the WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony to this event and free up some space on WrestleMania weekend, while still keeping the HOF ceremony special and partnered with its own event.

You’re putting together a faction of currently active WWE superstars who’s in it, what’s it called, and what’s your role?

I’d be the backer and sponsor of the group, called Ascension. As for who I’d want, I’d request Ethan Page, Joaquin Wilde, and Swipe Right from WWE Evolve. Add Evolve’s Stevie Turner and there you go.

Big Daddy or Giant Haystacks?

Big Daddy was a legend in the UK and is a huge man. Giant Haystacks was equally as large but would be better known to American fans for his time in WCW as Loch Ness. It’s a tough call here, but I’ll go with Big Daddy, Shirley Crabtree. I like the name, Big Daddy. It brings back memories.

Who is your favorite Wrestling Announcer/Announcer of all time?

Of all time, I have to go with the voice I grew up with, watching Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling every Saturday at 11:30 pm on WRAL, Channel 5, out of Raleigh, NC. And that would be, Mr. Bob Caudle.

Now that the Men’s MITB lineup is complete, who do you see winning?

The men in the match are Seth Rollins, El Grande Americano, Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, Penta, and Andrade. I think either Solo or Seth will win, but it’s a tough call as to which one. Hell, let’s go with Solo Sikoa.

If this termination sticks and R-Truth doesn’t end up back in WWE, what are some feuds in AEW, TNA, or with free agents, that you’d like to see Truth have?

If Truth goes to TNA, a face-off with Santino Marella is almost a no-brainer. Matches against JC Dango, aka Fandango, and Bryan Meyers could be fun too. As for AEW, after a face-off with Danhausen, I think fights with Ricochet and Kazuchika Okada could be fun.

You’re facing the Hart Foundation in a tag team event, and you can choose either Arn Anderson, Bobby Eaton, or Ray Stevens as your partner, who do you pick and why?

I couldn’t go wrong with any of those choices, as they were all well-known to be tag team specialists. I’d probably pick Bobby though, just for the added bonus of his long-time manager with the tennis racket.

Would you want to see Mandy Rose back in WWE, or has that chapter closed for good?

Mandy was good, but WWE has so much talent right now, that they don’t need her and she’d be lost in the shuffle. If she was to return, then okay, welcome back. But it makes no difference to me.

Would you watch a ‘Being The Elite’ movie or documentary?

A whole movie full of the Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, Okada, and the usual characters of AEW? I’d pass.

Would you want to see Kelly Kelly make one more WWE run—and who should she face if she does?

Kelly was only popular in her time in WWE because she was 18 years old and played an exhibitionist. She was never a standout wrestler or character. If she was to return to WWE, she’d be so far behind in terms of in-ring skills, I can’t see her keeping up or having any true success. So, should she return? I don’t think so. But if she did, she could fight Naomi. There is no real reason why, but it would be entertaining to see.

Is WWE losing its soul under TKO’s leadership?

The old WWE appreciated loyalty and would often look after wrestlers or talents after their best days were over. TKO is all about the money, period. So, that would be a yes.

Do you think Vince McMahon stepping down from WWE and TKO was best for business?

Vince had too much baggage and scandal to remain in power and control of WWE. Stepping down and handing over control of the company was the best thing for WWE to ensure its survival. The sale to TKO though? I’m beginning to have my doubts.
