Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

What is your favorite thing in pro wrestling right now?

Right now, admittingly, I’m in a slump and my enjoyment of wrestling, or anything else for that matter, isn’t what it was, but I still love and enjoy wrestling. Mostly, right now, it’s the in-depth personal stuff, like the Cornette or Dutch Mantell podcasts, or the interviews with Chris Van Vliet. I’m still a fan of Rhea Ripley, Judgment Day, and Drew McIntyre. My current favorite program is WWE Evolve, on Tubi, on Wednesday nights. Sometimes, less is more.

Ric Flair about Dutch Mantell. “Dutch, Everyone Is Always Going To Think Of You As A Veteran That’s Not Allowed To Have An Opinion. But I Sympathize With Your Health Issues, And Hope You Recover & Return To Top Health. You Have Always Been A Good Guy. The Anger You Pour Out At Everybody Is Clearly Coming From The Pain You Feel. Please Stay Strong!”. Thoughts?

Ric is thin-skinned and Dutch called him a dick and low IQ. Ric can’t take criticism, even when it’s justly deserved. He’s a man-child and needs to put that bottle down and just go away.

More Ric Flair: “I Try To Be Nice To Everybody. God Only Knows That I’ve Spent More Money On Spilt Liquor In One Year Than People Have In A Lifetime. I Tried Being Nice, And This Is My Last Message To Everyone. I’ve Got More Money Than I’ve Got Time. Go F Yourself Haters. No Comment Needed. Live With It! Actually Learn To Love It! Get Back To Me Again When You Make 3 Million Dollars A Year At The Age Of 76. That’s What FAMOUS Gets. And By The Way, I Don’t Recognize Anyone In This Conversation Who Is Famous.”. Thoughts?

If Ric has that much money, why doesn’t he pay Cary Silkin back the $41,000 he stole from him? Ric is throwing a tantrum, most likely shit-faced plastered, and just continues to kill his own legacy. Ric was a great wrestler, one of the best, but he’s a piece of shit person, one of the worst. Wooooo!

Karrion Kross has a few months left on his current contract with WWE and the company has not yet approached Kross about a renewal. Thoughts?

I have no idea what TKO might be thinking, but most likely, Kross should be saving his money and updating his resume. He may very well need it.

TKO parent company Endeavor has purchased back $250 million worth of company stock from Vince McMahon, the company revealed in a SEC filing. Thoughts?

They can spend money to buy back stock from Vince, offer millions to rappers to appear on their TV, and boast of record earnings and gates, but can’t give their talents a boost and expect them to take a pay cut instead. Oy vey! Vince is trading stock and raising cash to have on hand for his new projects and most likely a Janel Grant settlement in the near future. TKO just sucks!

Jackson Drake is the first-ever WWE Evolve Champion. Thoughts?

Drake is an impressive young talent, and with his alliance with Swipe Right, Bryce Donavan, and Zayda Steele, as The Vanity Project, it was a good choice for the inaugural champion. This whole group has superstars written all over them, and for Drake, I think this is only the beginning of a long and very successful career. The dude has skills.

Will Ospreay, while cutting a promo on Jon Moxley on live TV, said, “Why AEW sucks right now, is because you’re the champ!”. Thoughts?

Ospreay said what we’ve all been thinking. A Freudian slip, I believe it’s called. But don’t blame Moxley, It’s a team effort and the blame can be spread among many. And yeah, they really do.

Kevin Owens still hasn’t had the neck surgery and says that he doesn’t know if he’ll ever wrestle again. Thoughts?

I don’t blame Owens for not wanting to go under the knife and continually putting this off. So long as there are any doubts, a decision like surgery should not be taken lightly or rushed. I just hope that Kevin makes the best decision for him, and has a great life and full recovery if possible. I’d love to see Kevin back in the ring at some point, but he has to do what he feels is best for himself, his family, and his future. Wrestling will always be there, but Kevin needs to put himself first before all else.

According to Sheamus in a recent interview with Pat McAfee, about R-Truth, “There is no way he is not going to come back.”. Thoughts?

I hope Sheamus is right. I think Truth will do well, regardless of whatever the future holds, and I continue to hope that WWE is a part of that future. But Truth has to put himself, and his family, first, and do what’s best for Truth. If that means WWE, awesome. And if he ends up somewhere else, that’ll be okay too.

Roxanne Perez is making noise for AJ Lee to return to WWE for a possible dream match. Thoughts?

I’m not sure what kind of ring shape AJ might be in, and time is running out to properly promote anything, but wouldn’t WWE Evolution II be a great place for an AJ Lee versus Roxanne Perez match? I’d like to see this happen too. I just hope that WWE and AJ Lee are listening.
