On Saturday afternoon, live from Los Angeles, CA, on YouTube, it’s a joint event by the WWE and AAA Lucha Libre. It’s When World’s Collide. This is an afternoon event, and later that night, also in LA, will be WWE Money in the Bank. But, one show at a time. This is the first super-show effort from Lucha Libre AAA under the WWE umbrella. Are you ready for a few predictions? Let’s roll.

Legado Del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Angel, and Berto) vs. El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Pagano, and Psycho Clown.

I’m not very familiar with the AAA guys in this match, but I remember the names from days past, and I’m sure that they’re excellent talents. For Angel Garza, this has to be like a homecoming, as his family has a long history in Mexico and are considered legends. I think the hometown curse for WWE still lives though.

Winners: El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Pagano, and Psycho Clown.

AAA Mega Championship
El Hijo del Vikingo (c) vs. Chad Gable.

Chad Gable is really getting the big push these days. It’s almost as if he’s doing the work of two people. Just imagine if he had to work at the Money in the Bank PLE too. This should be an excellent match. It’s a tough call, but I think the AAA Mega Championship will stay home.

Winner and STILL AAA Mega Champion: El Hijo del Vikingo.

Fatal 4-Way Match: NXT North American Championship
Ethan Page (c) vs. Je’Von Evans vs. Laredo Kid vs. Rey Fénix.

This will be the most WWE-ish match of the night and is easily the one I’m most looking forward to at this event. Will Fenix win his first WWE gold, or maybe Je’Von Evans will have his moment in the sun? How about no to either suggestion? This match, and the NXT North American Championship, both go to the man himself, All Ego Ethan Page.

Winner and STILL NXT North American Champion: Ethan Page.

Stephanie Vaquer and Lola Vice vs. Chik Tormenta and Dalys.

Vaquer is the big star in this match and must be protected. It’s too soon for her to lose.

Winners: Stephanie Vaquer & Lola Vice.

Latino World Order (Dragon Lee and Cruz Del Toro) and Lince Dorado vs. Octagón Jr., Aero Star, and Mr. Iguana.

It sucks to me that Joaquin Wilde has to miss this match, but after getting knocked out a few days ago, better safe than sorry. And the LWO has Lince Corago to step up and take his spot. This match should be quick-paced and the action should be wild. I want to see the LWO win, but with a substitute player, I doubt that will be happening.

Winners: Octagón Jr., Aero Star, and Mr. Iguana.

And there you go with my predictions. Am I right? Am I wrong? Check out the action on WWE’s YouTube page on Saturday afternoon and we’ll find out together. Comments, thoughts, questions, and any predictions you may have, drop me a line at @Doug28352 on X, or my e-mail of Doug28352@yahoo.com and share the love. Thanks for reading, and I’ll catch you on the flip side.
