Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

Konnan & Corey Graves. Thoughts on the WWE AAA Announce Team for Worlds Collide.

I was surprised to see Konnan, but it was a pleasant surprise. Konnan showed far more life and energy here than he ever does on his podcast with Disco Inferno. He was the perfect choice for the color commentator as he was able to articulate the differences between WWE and Lucha without overdoing it. And Corey Graves sounded the best that he’s sounded in a long time. Graves was on his A-game and Konnan stepped up and they worked together quite well.

How would you rate WWE/AAA Worlds Collide on a scale of 1-10?

It was an excellent show and really did well to introduce the Lucha Libre AAA style. I don’t give 10s, but a solid 8 for sure.

Would you want to see Chavo Guerrero Jr. take on an on-screen role in WWE again?

Chavo has established a great career as a trainer and wrestling consultant for Hollywood, so I’m not sure if he’d be willing to return to WWE or professional wrestling full-time. Chavito has a great legacy behind him though, and is a great talker, so if WWE were to offer him a job as an announcer or trainer, I’d gladly support that decision.

Do you want to see AJ Styles vs. Sean Legacy happen on WWE programming?

I’ve seen Legacy work a few times on Evolve and the boy has skills and a solid future ahead of him. A match between him and AJ Styles would be very cool to see.

R-Truth is back in WWE. Thoughts?

The fans made enough noise and WWE reconsidered their decision. This is great news for WWE, for Truth, and for the fans.

How would you rate WWE MITB on a scale of 1-10?

The matches were too long and overbooked in many spots, but it was never boring. Okay, parts were boring, but it was more cringe in some spots with unnecessary and dangerous spots. That being said, it was a solid show. I’ll give it a 7.5.

So, Seth and Naomi are the winners of MITB. Thoughts?

Neither was my choice, but neither was a bad decision. With Seth, he’s a big name and major star, and this adds to the whole Paul Heyman alliance story. Naomi has done well and seems to be embracing this character. Naomi is a great choice and I expect that she’ll do well in this role.

Which show was better? Worlds Collide or Money in the Bank?

Both shows were good and solid. The better show? I’ll have to go with Worlds Collide.

Nikki Bella is scheduled to return to WWE on Monday Night RAW. Thoughts?

It’s time to start with the build towards WWE Evolution 2, so the return of Nikki Bella makes sense. Welcome home, Nikki.

It’s official. WrestleMania will be returning to Las Vegas next year. Thoughts?

It’s a RKO decision and they’re going for the safe money and thinking about how to get the biggest cash haul in one show. I’m not crazy about the repeat booking, but whatever. I won’t be going and will watch on Peacock or Netflix or whatever, so the city doesn’t matter to me. I would still love to see Mania in Charlotte, NC, or maybe Atlanta though.
