Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

What are your thoughts on Feugo Del Sol’s character change to KJ Orso?

I miss the old Fuego, but this new character, KJ Orso, is a great reboot and change. Fuego is a talented and charismatic guy, but the happy masked man is limited in what he can do and how he can be used. As Orso, he’s a heel, no longer one-dimensional, and could easily be penciled in against anyone, be it an opening match or the main event. I’ll always have a place in my heart for Fuego, but KJ Orso is a star just waiting to explode.

You’re casting for a movie about the former Netflix series, Marvel’s The Defenders, using pro wrestlers as all the lead characters. Who would you cast in each role?

This one could be fun. Playing the role of Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil, how about The Miz? Daniel Rand, aka Iron Fist, would be Logan Paul. Luke Cage would be played by Bobby Lashley, and Jessica Jones could be played by Jordynne Grace. In the supporting roles, I’d go with Stephanie Vaquer as Elektra Natchios, Chelsea Green as Colleen Wing, Cathy Kelley as Claire Temple, and Naomi as Misty Knight.

Brie Bella says she wants to return to WWE, but they haven’t reached out to her. Thoughts?

That phone works both ways, right? If WWE hasn’t reached out to her, she needs to have her people reach out to WWE. Or go to RAW with Nikki and visit backstage. Sitting around and waiting for a call sounds entitled.

Zelina Vega says that she wants to do a reality show with Aleister Black. Would you watch it?

If the old WWE Network was still around, that would make a great home for such a show. Reality shows are losing their allure and are not as popular as they once were, but a Zelina/Aleister show could be fun. I doubt I would watch it though. There are way too many other wrestling-related shows to watch already.

If WWE is forced to cancel Smackdown and Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia, what should they do about those shows? Reschedule with the Saudis, book another arena, or just cancel them altogether?

If WWE is forced to cancel these shows, just move them to the PC and have them there. Reschedule the dates with the Saudis for different events, record SmackDown and Night of Champions at the PC, and make the best of a bad situation. But, as of right now, Monday morning, it seems as if the plans for WWE are to go to Saudi Arabia and air the shows with no changes. Business as usual.

Mr. Kennedy is starting a podcast. Are you looking forward to his podcast? Will you be listening?

I already listen to Cornette, Dutch, Stevie Richard, Chris Van Vliet, and occasionally Maven & Cody Rhodes. And if Logan Paul or Pat McAfee have a guest I’m interested in, I’ll watch/listen to them as well. So, Mr. Kennedy? If I see a clip on YouTube, I’ll probably check him out, but I doubt I’ll be a regular listener.

Did you take issue with Jey Uso dropping the title back to Gunther?

Nope. WWE made the right call by switching the belt back to Gunther. Uso had his moment in the sun, but Gunther makes a better World Champion in my opinion.

Do you think Goldberg could take Scott Steiner in a real fight?

Goldberg is a former NFL star with a background in martial arts. Steiner is a true genetic freak and as tough as they come, but in a real fight, I think it would come down to who gets the lucky punch first. It could go either way.

Would you want to see Michelle McCool and Layla back together for one more match?

Given the past six months, I’m getting quickly burned out on Michelle McCool. She’s not as good as she thinks she is, and her husband is working overtime to try to make her seem relevant. But honestly, to me, if she faded back into wrestling oblivion, I wouldn’t mind a bit. Without Mae Young there to make McCool and Layla look good, I have no desire to see this team again.

Of these four, who is the best in-ring performer and wrestler? Shawn Michaels, AJ Styles, Drew McIntyre, or Bryan Danielson.

Four of the absolute best. And the best of the best, in my opinion? I’d go with Drew McIntyre.
