Every day, my Twitter feed is filled with dozens of random questions. This is where I provide the answers. It’s the Ultimate X Q&A. My, how the time has flown by. It’s number 134, and I’m still standing. Let’s do this.

Would you rather stay in or go out on a Friday night?

These days, Friday is just another night of the week for me. And unless it’s my bro & the family or a booty call, I’m not going anywhere.

If you were given the chance to steal something, what would it be?

A certain dude’s heart, but unfortunately, I think he hates me now.

What is the first thing you do after getting home from a trip?

I pet my cat and give him kisses. Everything else can wait.

Should solar panels be mandatory for all new home constructions?

Nope. They’re ugly and should be a choice.

Do you have a special meal you would like to have for your birthday? What is it?

Well, my birthday will be in a couple of weeks. I’m not really concerned about what meal I’ll be eating, but Chinese would be nice.

What’s a certain product you couldn’t live without?

Pepsi Zero and Mt. Dew Zero. Yes, I am an addict. And the internet too.

Do you believe in horoscopes?

I won’t say that I believe in them, but I do read mine every day, just in case. Better safe than sorry, right?

What is the best name you could think of for a cat?

I let the cat and their personality determine what name fits them the best. But we do have a young kitten that has taken up here at the house. I’m calling him Fuego.

Should juveniles be tried and sentenced as adults for serious crimes?

If they’re old enough to know better, usually age 12 and above, they’re old enough to take responsibility. So that would be a yes.

What would you name your yacht if you had one?

Tossing Salt, of course.

Are private schools better than public schools?

They should be, with more discipline, a tighter agenda, and more structure. But whether or not they actually do, that’s questionable.

Who is your all-time favorite Disney character?

Well, Disney owns Fox and Fox owns the Rocky Horror Picture Show, so my favorite Disney character? Dr. Frank N. Furter. As for classic Disney, let’s go with Donald Duck.

Who’s still on your bucket list, and who will forever be on the missed list?

My original bucket list of dudes, that I made when I was 25, is cleared either by conquest or death. I only missed out on two out of ten. And my new list, it’s a work in progress. And yeah, I know that’s not an answer, but that’s all I’m giving right now.

Can you drive a stick?

I have the knowledge and did at a few points in my life, but not anymore. I’m missing a foot to work the brake and gas while my left one works the clutch.

Do you have a problem with JD Vance calling Sen. Alex Padilla “Jose”?

Nope. Why should I?

What was the biggest change to getting older that was the hardest to accept?

That the body can’t do what it used to. The mind is still willing and able, but the body tends to say, “F.U.” way too often.

Is teaching cursive important to kids in school?

It’s not as important as math, English, science, or history, but it is a useful skill to have.

Are standardized tests effective in measuring a student’s abilities?

To a point, yes. They give the teachers a baseline as to where the student is in terms of education and skills. They’re not absolute or definitive, but they’re a good place to start.

If you could have any movie prop in real life, what would you want?

In the 1984 movie Monster Dog, starring Alice Cooper, there is a portrait that is flashed several times during the movie. It’s supposed to foreshadow the wild dogs in the movie and add suspense. No, it doesn’t work. But the picture is very cool. The movie sucked, but Alice’s songs in the movie, and that picture still make it oddly compelling. I want that picture on my wall.

And there you go. Thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s close up the shop today. Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you at the Shady Lady.
