Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

Ric Flair’s latest post on X: “I’ve seen what people have said and here is my official statement: It’s not dookie running down my pants at the bars in Tampa… It’sCUM! WOOO!” Thoughts?

Even though I can easily see Flair saying this, I went to his Twitter feed and this isn’t real or legit. There are posts online about Flair allegedly pooping himself while partying in Tampa. And they’re probably true. But this response, as far as I can tell, it’s not real. Hell, just looking at the text itself, it’s not a Flair tweet. Flair capitalizes every letter in the tweet, yet this one has proper wording and punctuation. That’s not Flair. Wooooo.

Cody Rhodes & Kevin Owens recently had a conversation, with Owens saying, “You hear about ex-WWE guys that overestimated their appeal just because they were coming off WWE runs. And I think, you know, [censored] is a good example. Charged insane amounts.” And Ryback immediately responded, speculating that they were talking about him. Thoughts?

It might be Ryback they’re talking about, but they’re not specifically saying. Ryback calling this out is just telling on himself. He’s being more respectful than usual, but the best thing he could have done would be ignore it, laugh about it, and move on. Any embarrassment is strictly his own doing.

Vickie Guerrero has been telling people she’s planning a return to WWE in the coming weeks. Thoughts?

Just for the possible interactions between Vickie and Dominik Mysterio, this is great news. Excuse me! You know that you want to see it too.

Who’s the Biggest fumble in WWE history?

Curtis Axel. WWE started by taking the third-generation talent, the son of Mr. Perfect, and giving him the name Michael McGillicutty. Despite the run as the IC Champion, the multiple tag team title runs, and the great personality shown backstage and in interviews was only treated as a joke and comedy act. Axel had the potential to be a huge star, but bad bookings, and bad stories, doomed him from the start.

Who’s your emotional support wrestler?

I have two. Michael Youngblood and Ethan Storm. But they’re not just wrestlers, but also long-time friends and essentially family. They just happen to be amazing wrestlers as well as amazing people.

Shotzi Blackheart once pitched having a Casket Match in WWE, but WWE shut her down and said no. Thoughts?

WWE was right on this one. A casket match is a special attraction and should be reserved for special characters. The Undertaker, Kane, The Wyatts, etc. An angle with a casket makes sense. Shotzi? She was never that big or unique. She’s a talented wrestler, but she’s not someone that belongs in a specialty match such as a casket match.

Keith Lee says that he is fine, but it’s not up to him when he returns to the ring. Thoughts?

He’s been out of sight for so long, that AEW has moved on and forgotten about him. He’s still under contract, but he’s just a face in the crowd with AEW now. Nothing more.

Do you agree with Matt Hardy that wrestling in 2025 is too choreographed?

Yes. Think back to the old days when wrestling was two men given a finish and called it in the ring. And think about what we have now. Which was more interesting and better? Matt is 100% correct.

Do you think Bron Breakker should’ve used the Steiner name?

Everyone knows who he is and who his family is. Bron is establishing his own reputation and legacy. He can step into the family legacy at any time and point when he wants to. Right now, he’s his own man. Good for him.

Do you think turning Cody Rhodes heel now would kill WWE’s momentum? Or is it the bold move they need to keep things fresh?

If the heel turn makes sense, for good reasons, they should do it. If it seems forced and fake, then don’t. Cody is a natural heel in so many ways, we know it’s coming. It just has to make sense.
