Chyna & Victoria versus Rhea Ripley & Raquel Rodriguez. Who wins?

These are four powerhouses of women’s wrestling and fascinating characters. Surprisingly, Chyna wouldn’t be able to overpower everyone else and that would take away her biggest asset. The match would be fun, but the end results aren’t hard to figure out. Rhea and Raquel are better all-around performers. Raquel and Rhea with the victory.

Vince McMahon allegedly wants to get back into wrestling. So, why not restart WCW? He owns the name and rights to everything, right?

WWE owns all of the copyrights for WCW, not Vince. Vince might want to get back into the wrestling business, but rebooting WCW is not a viable option.

Why don’t companies like it when a wrestler gets over on their own?

The companies have stories and plans for each wrestler. If a wrestler gets over of their own, that forces the bookers and company to change their plans and make adjustments. The smart bookers don’t mind or care and are happy to make the proper adjustments. The bad bookers, lazy bookers, and not-as-creative wrestling promoters get mad, and stubborn, and don’t even try.

The Beast Mortos has been in the main event two weeks in a row for AEW since publicly announcing a relationship with Mercedes Mone. Does he deserve that spot or is it nepotism at work?

Dating one of the biggest stars of the company has its advantages. And if Mortos and Mone break up, he’ll get the Britt Baker treatment and be sent home. Mortos, enjoy it while it lasts.

If there was an AEW versus WWE edition of Family Feud, what five talents from each company would you send to represent their company?

For AEW, I’d send Tony Khan, Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, Mercedes Mone, and Kenny Omega. And for WWE, I’d have Cody Rhodes, Triple H, Becky Lynch, Rhea Ripley, and Dominik Mysterio as the representatives.

The Laurinaitis Brothers (The Terminator, Road Warrior Animal, Johnny Ace) versus The Usos (Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Solo Sikoa). Who wins?

This could be a fun match. The dynamics are interesting and match up well. The Usos and Solo would win, but they’d be in for a good fight in the process.

How did you get into watching vintage wrestling?

I started watching wrestling in the early ’70s. I watch vintage wrestling because it’s what I grew up on and enjoyed as a kid. It’s not vintage, but classic… like me.

Why couldn’t Brad Armstrong make it as a top star?

Brad had the talent and in the territory days, was very popular. However the national promotions at the time were geared towards promoting the bigger men, and smaller talents like Brad were used as jobbers to get the big guys over. Brad’s personality was great in the locker room but didn’t get over on television as a serious wrestling character. Brad could probably outwork and out-wrestle 98%of the wrestlers on TV, but wrong place, wrong time, and it just didn’t work.
