Every day, my Twitter feed is filled with dozens of random questions. This is where I provide the answers. It’s the Ultimate X Q&A. My, how the time has flown by. It’s number 137, and I’m still standing. Let’s do this.

Has anyone ever falsely accused you of being narcissistic?

Nope. I’ve been accused of many things over the years, but being too full of myself has never been one of those things.

What’s something from your childhood that no longer exists, but you still miss it like crazy?

My innocence. I used to believe in people and saw only the positive. And now, I know the truth and see reality. Naivity was a nice blanket to hide under.

What TV show got canceled that you’re still mad about?

Roseanne, the reboot. ABC did Roseanne wrong, fired her from her own show, and changed it to The Conners. That was so wrong on so many different levels.

What do you do (to cope) when you are feeling down?

I sleep or I write. I wish I could still drink. Either one works quite well though.

Describe Dolly Parton in one word.

Inspirational.

Describe your sex life in three words.

Dead, lonely, and non-existent.

What’s your favorite cereal?

Fruit Loops or Trix. And Raisin Nut Crunch when I want to pretend to be a serious adult.

Do you like garlic bread with your spaghetti & meatballs?

It’s not a necessity, but yeah, those two foods go well together. I like it.

What do you think it means when a book or movie receives terrible reviews, but you love it?

It means I have better tastes or insights than the reviewer. They’re wrong.

In a work of fiction, do you feel one must ‘live’ an experience to write about it to depict it accurately? For example, being homeless, living with a mental health issue, being of a different ethnicity, etc.

It’s not absolutely necessary, but some knowledge is required to make any scenario as accurate as possible. Knowledge, plus a good imagination.

Do you think ICE Agents can be good people?

ICE Agents are just men and women doing their job, removing people who are here illegally and sending them home, as any other law enforcement officer would do with any other criminal. Some are good and some are not. And their job title has nothing to do with that.

Do you love horror movies?

When I was a kid, I loved both slasher movies and classic monster movies. As I’ve gotten older, I like dumb comedy and the occasional feel-good drama. But yes, I am still a fan.

You come home, and everyone you’ve ever dated is sitting on your front porch. Reply with just three words.

Are we talking seriously about dating only or are all random hook-ups and booty calls included in this assembly? I think I would need a much bigger porch. Yeah, I had my moments lol. Three words? How you doing?

If all your exes sat at one table, what’s the one thing they’d all agree on about you?

Again, what counts as an ex? Serious relationships or flings/booty calls, etc? I think all would agree that I was often naive and too nice a guy far too often. And I watch too much wrestling and need to grow up.

Do you like The Rolling Stones?

They’re not in my Big Six, but yeah, I like most of their music.

What are the two things you’d like to ask your pet?

Should we invite Fuego inside to live with us? And why do you put up with me?

Which part of the roller coaster do you usually ride: the front, middle, or back?

Usually, I sit in the middle. I’m old and it just seems to be the most natural place to sit.

And there you go. Thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s close up the shop today. Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you under the bleachers.

Ubuntu!
