Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

According to Meltzer, WWE planted the fan who CM Punk apologized to. Thoughts?

This is pro wrestling. Every reporter at the post-match scrums is a plant and every match is pre-determined. Was the fan a plant? Who cares? It got the job accomplished, gave Punk a chance to apologize for past comments about Saudi Arabia, and allowed WWE to move on. Mission accomplished.

Which WWE superstar do you think is the most wasted talent at the moment?

I’ve said it many times and I’ll say it again. Austin Theory. Well, Omos too. Both men could be used so much better than WWE is currently doing.

Remember WWF’s Three Wise Men of Wrestling, managers Captain Lou Albano, The Grand Wizard, and Freddie Blassie. If you could pick three managers to be the 2025 version of WWE, who would you choose?

Paul Heyman for sure. That’s a no-brainer. As for the other two, I’d have Tamina Snuka as the manager for Solo Sikoa’s version of The Bloodline. Tamina is an imposing figure and since she’s still on the WWE payroll, plus she’s related to The Bloodline, use her as a manager/enforcer. And the final name? Curtis Axel. Use the real name of Joe Hennig and bring the former IC Champion back as a manager. He’s got the pedigree and though he wasn’t allowed to show it often, the personality, to shine in a role such as this. And the knowledge of three generations runs through his body. Joe Hennig as a manager would be perfect.

Tiffany Stratton is being accused of being racist after calling a fan, a black male, “Boy”. Was her comment racially insensitive, or are people reading too much into it? Thoughts?

She told him to shut his mouth. Yeah, she called him a boy, but there was nothing racist about it. Anyone who thinks differently is just looking for something to complain about and is an idiot. ‘Nuff said!

Jake Paul says that he will sue anyone who says his fights are staged. Thoughts?

Hey, Jake Paul. Your fights are rigged, fake, fixed, and staged. My lawyers, Dewey, Cheatum, and Howe, said to give them a call.

Do you think Giulia will live up to the hype as WWE’s next big star?

She’s good inside the ring, but so far, I haven’t seen much of a character or personality. This will give us a chance to see more of Giulia and learn about her. I think she’ll do okay.

What do you think—should AEW keep expanding internationally with shows like Grand Slam Mexico?

AEW seems to be doing well and growing with the international crowds, while the domestic crowds in the U.S. seem to be decreasing. If going international is what makes the money and draws a bigger audience, that is exactly what they should do.

What was the point of Shane Douglas constantly calling out Ric Flair while in ECW? Was there even a point, or was it just for publicity and attention?

It was publicity and attention. ECW was the new kid and trying to compete against WCW and WWE for fans and publicity. What better way to catch eyes than to call out the legend and multiple-time World Champion, Ric Flair? And admit it. It worked.

At WWE Night of Champions in the Queen of the Ring match, when Jade pinned Asuka, her shoulders were on the mat too for the three counts. Should Triple H strip Jade of the Crown, do a rematch, insert Asuka in the match at SummerSlam, or what?

Most likely WWE will ignore the obvious and hope that not enough people noticed Jade’s flub to matter. But if it was me, I’d let Jade keep the crown and match at SummerSlam, but order a rematch at Evolution 2 between Asuka and Jade. And if Asuka wins, she’s added to the match at SummerSlam. That’s what I would do, but most likely, WWE will just ignore it.

Chris Jericho versus Randy Savage. Who wins?

Surprisingly, Jericho and Savage never wrestled each other during their long and stellar careers. These two guys are so opposite, this match would either be really good or really bad. The promos and build would be great. It’s a tough call, but I think Macho would have the advantage and score a solid win.
