Coming up on Saturday afternoon with a special start time of 3:00 pm, live from Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia, is NXT Great American Bash 2025. And of course, you know what that means, right? It’s prediction time. As Dusty Rhodes would say, it’s time to get funky like a monkey, and talk about some hard times. Let’s do this.
NXT Championship
Oba Femi (c) vs. Yoshiki Inamura (with Josh Briggs).
I’ve only seen Inamura wrestle a couple of times, but the guy is impressive. But is he Oba Femi? Nope, I don’t think so. I expect to see Briggs get involveed and this should be a good match. That being said, Oba Femi is not losing that title.
Winner and STILL NXT Champion: Oba Femi.
Jordynne Grace and Blake Monroe vs. Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley) (with Jazmyn Nyx).
This is Mariah May, oops, I mean Blake Monroe’s wrestling debut inside an NXT ring. And Grace is the next big thing for NXT with big expectations. They’re not losing this match.
Winners: Jordynne Grace and Blake Monroe.
NXT Women’s North American Championship
Sol Ruca (c) (with Zaria) vs. Izzi Dame (with Tatum Paxley).
Two talented women with a ton of potential. This should be an excellent match. I expect we’ll be seeing Ruca on the main roster before long, and she’s scheduled to be a part of Evolution 2 on Sunday night. I guess this is the warm up. Look for Ruca to keep her belt.
Winner and STILL NXT Women’s North American Champion: Sol Ruca.
NXT North American Championship: Falls Count Anywhere
Ethan Page (c) vs. Ricky Saints.
And this is the match that will be stealing the show. Both Page and Saints could just as easily be challenging foe the U.S. or Intercontintental Championships on the main roster. These guys have great chemistry and this match will be off-the-charts. I would be picking Saints to win, but look at how he got to this match? He beat Evolve’s Vanity Project. Don’t you think they’ll be upset about that? I do. Look for The Vanity Project to get involved and as a result, Ethan Page keeps the gold.
Winner and STILL NXT North American Champion: All Ego Ethan Page.
Je’Von Evans vs. Jasper Troy.
Honestly, I’m not impressed with Evans at all. The guy has skills, but he’s sloppy. But he’s high in the eyes of NXT management and fans, and he’ll get better as time goes on. And Jasper Troy? He’s just another victim to be checked off.
Winner: Je’Von Evans.
And there you go with my predictions. So, what are yours? Let me know, along with any other thoughts, comments, or questions you may have. And I guess that’s it. Thanks for reading and the continued support. Have a great one and I’ll see you at the matches.
