Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.
According to CNBC, The Khan family’s sports assets Jacksonville Jaguars, Fulham FC, and All Elite Wrestling are listed as being worth $9.888 Billion They are the 13th most valuable sports empire in the world. Thoughts?
Tony’s daddy has money. Good for them. I wonder if they want to adopt another kid. I’m available, and I’m sure I could help Tony with that whole AEW wrestling thing.
Would you like to see AJ Styles make an in-ring return to TNA Wrestling?
That would make for a really cool moment. I’d like to see it happen.
Do you think WWE should stick with Evolution as an annual event, or are the sales numbers telling a different story?
The ratings might not be great, but the potential is there for an epic event and I’d like to see it become a regular part of the WWE PLE schedule. The ladies of WWE seem excited about it and most of the buzz I’ve seen online has been positive. WWE should keep it.
Would you watch a Total Divas reboot to see where the Bella twins, Saraya, and the rest of the cast are now?
I didn’t watch it in the past and I wouldn’t watch it now. I’d read recaps online and keep up with anything that seems interesting that way, but I wouldn’t be watching.
Do you believe Matt Hardy should keep wrestling in 2025 and beyond?
That is entirely Matt’s decision and up to him. If he feels that he can still go and perform, and the promotions are still booking him, then he should do what he wants and feels best doing. It’s his decision, not mine.
During a segment with Mark Briscoe, MJF did all the expected comments about the late Jay Briscoe and it got pretty rough and low, even for MJF. Did he take it too far?
As you said, MJF did and said exactly what one would expect MJF to say. I’m sure he cleared it with Briscoe before the segment. Yes, it was rough, but with MJF, would we expect anything less?
Yes or no. Is Dave Meltzer biased towards AEW?
Yes, he is. Very biased. At least it seems that way to me.
If you could put together a one-night-only Roundtable Discussion of any six people you want, to talk about WWE Evolution, live on YouTube, who would your six people, aside from yourself, be?
I won’t get outrageous in my choices, and I’ll keep the answer real, with people I know, have met, or share mutual friends with. My discussion would include Michael Youngblood, Ethan Storm, The Fallen Artist Derk Douglas, Baby Doll, my brother, the Infamous K-Mak, and Missy Hyatt. It would make for a fantastic discussion.
Allegedly, Jelly Roll will be facing Logan Paul at SummerSlam. Thoughts?
As of last night on SmackDown, it seems to be Jelly Roll and Randy Orton versus Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul. And as I answered earlier in a different Q&A, I was skeptical about Jelly Roll wrestling. I love his music but wrestling in the ring? Really? But after the segment last night on SmackDown, I’m willing to wait and see and give it a chance.
Is Darby Allin this generation’s Jeff Hardy? Yes or no?
That’s a fair comparison, but Darby is more reckless and not nearly the in-ring performer or personality that Jeff is. Darby is like the Temu-version of Jeff.
