Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

Which one is better inside the ring? Jimmy Uso or Jey Uso?

Jey is more charismatic and has a bigger presence. Jimmy is the better in-ring wrestler and performer.

Tony Khan was asked about Women’s Tag Titles. He said if he made brackets a few weeks ago, they’d be different now. He wants to do it, but needs stability. Thoughts?

He basically admits that the Women’s division is a mess and there are not enough stable, regular teams to support a tag team division for the Women. Of course, it’s Tony-speak, so he says it without meaning to say it. How is this guy an executive in any major corporation? No tag titles for the women anytime soon.

Outlaw James Storm was spotted backstage at AEW All In: Texas. Does this mean Storm will soon be All Elite?

From what I understand, Storm lives in Texas and was just visiting. This isn’t the first time he’s been spotted visiting an AEW show, and I doubt it’ll be the last. I don’t see him signing with AEW though, even if it would be cool if he did. I just don’t see it happening.

Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland are being listed as EVPs on the AEW Roster Page. Thoughts?

That wasn’t mentioned in the pre-match clause. The only ones who allegedly had EVP ramifications stipulated were Matthew and Nicholas, the Young Bucks. I guess this is just a bonus that someone thought of after the match and decided to run with it to further storylines. It makes no sense, but when has that ever mattered?

Would you ever get a tattoo related to your job—or your favorite wrestling company?

I have thought in the past about getting a “Tossing Salt” tattoo to honor my twenty-plus years of writing about wrestling, plus I still want to get a Four Horsemen tattoo. So, would I? Maybe.

WWE ended SNME in the middle of Goldberg’s goodbye speech. Thoughts?

SNME was being aired on a network, NBC, with strict restrictions on the time. It’s not like being on Netflix or the Network where they can go as long as they want. If they’re scheduled to end at 10:00, the feed quits at 10:00, period. No exceptions. WWE has released the entire speech online so we, the fans, get to see it all.

Toni Storm versus Wendi Richter. Who wins?

Wendi was good for her time, but it was more charisma and the energy of being associated with Cyndi Lauper than actual wrestling skills. Toni is a great character, but she can also deliver inside that ring. Toni Storm would win.

Would you like to see Jim Cornette return to WWE for one last match, managing a wrestler of his choice against Paul Heyman and a wrestler of his choosing? If so, what wrestlers would you pick to represent Cornette and Heyman in the match?

This would be fun to see Corny back at ringside, cutting promos and swinging that tennis racket, but I can’t see it ever happening. But, if it did, it would be great entertainment and great television. As for who the wrestlers would be, I’d stick to the current talent and relationships. CM Punk for Corny and Seth Rollins for Heyman.

Media Scrums by AEW and WWE. Why?

They started because they made Tony Khan feel important, like a legitimate leader and wrestling promoter. It’s an ego thing. And WWE started doing them because AEW does them.

Would you like to see The Disco Inferno have a retirement tour?

Glenn Gilbertti is one of my favorite characters from the days of WCW. The former multi-time TV Champion and Tag Team Champion never failed to entertain or get a great reaction from the live audiences. A retirement tour or retirement match? It could never happen. Why? Because Disco never dies. Ask the Village People. I don’t think Gilbertti will be wrestling much in the days or years to come, but between the show with Konnan and the internet, he’s not going away anytime soon.
