Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

Do you think Jordynne Grace made the right choice leaving TNA for WWE?

Grace had already done everything that there was to do in TNA and was beginning to need a change of environment to prevent getting stale. WWE provided that.

Do you agree with CM Punk about protecting the business? Or are you ready to see what really happens backstage?

I prefer the old school ways of protecting the business and preserving kayfabe. I don’t mind the occasional peek through the curtain, but inviting the fans backstage and destroying all the mystery and magic seems to me to defeat the purpose. A show like the one coming up on Netflix is not needed or wanted.

Do you want to see Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton go all the way to WrestleMania?

I’m not sure about Cody versus Randy at Mania, but if we see them wrestle a few more times between now and then, I wouldn’t object.

Do you think Kane needs a retirement match to truly close out his career?

It would be nice for Kane, the wrestler, but I’m not sure how it would affect Glenn Jacobs, the politician. It could cause some problems with his political future. Kane doesn’t need it.

Who do you want to see face Roman Reigns at WWE SummerSlam this year?

Since we only have two weeks to build it up, how about Roman versus Bron Breakker?

Do you think AEW should be more careful with how much punishment Kenny Omega is taking in the ring?

If Omega has as many medical issues as it seems, why is he even being allowed to wrestle? Yes, he’s damaged goods, and if he continues to wrestle regularly, he should be protected.

CM Punk recently revealed that he had a secret meeting with Vince McMahon and Triple H in 2019 about returning to WWE, but Vince ghosted him after the meeting. Thoughts?

Who can understand why and how Vince’s mind works, but it worked out for the best. Maybe it just wasn’t the right time, and Vince realized that. Who knows?

Jelly Roll, David Arquette, Jay Leno, and Bad Bunny versus Logan Paul, Travis Scott, Johnny Knoxville, and Dennis Rodman. Special Referee: Snooki. Who wins?

Anheuser-Busch, because I would have to drink a lot of beer to get through this match. The publicity and media would love this. With everyone in their prime, I think Logan and Rodman would make the difference. Paul, Scott, Knoxville, and Rodman would win.

AEW Superstar Cope is now being referred to by his name, Adam Copeland. Thoughts?

I guess that Copeland realized that the ‘Cope’ name wasn’t working and couldn’t cope with it anymore. Using the real name makes far more sense.

What do you think of the AEW All In, in comparison to WrestleMania 3?

I don’t. For me, there is no comparison. WrestleMania 3 was a once-in-a-lifetime event. And All In: Texas. It was confusing, long, and no one will remember it six months from now. All they have in common is that there were wrestlers on the show. Nothing more.

And there you go. Thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and questions are welcome and appreciated. Reach me by e-mail at Doug28352@yahoo.com or on X at @Doug28352.
