Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

Who would be on your Mt. Rushmore of Women’s Wrestling, pre-1980?

We’re going back quite a ways, but I have an answer. Two women who are arguably the top women of that era, like them or not, with Fabulous Moolah and Mildred Burke, plus two legends I was honored to know and establish a friendship with, Ann Casey, and former AWA Women’s Champion Penny Banner.

Kurt Angle has joined Real American Freestyle as a commentator, analyst, and partner. Thoughts?

It’s about amateur wrestling, and who knows that topic better than Kurt Angle? Kurt can cash in, make some good money working with Hogan and Bischoff, and promote what he loves while adding credibility to the new brand. It’s a win-win for all involved.

WWE is allegedly considering sending Omos to AAA for a run. Thoughts?

This is good. Much like his brief run with Pro Wrestling NOAH last year, this allows Omos to learn and grow as a performer, plus gives WWE something to do with Omos besides leave him sitting at home. At least he’ll be used.

Let’s assume AEW never happened, how many of its current roster would’ve made it to WWE and thrived in that system?

Not many. Taking away the former WWE talents on the AEW roster, I think Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay would have ended up in WWE. Britt Baker and Billy Gunn’s sons might have made it, plus Scorpio Sky, Sammy Guevara, and maybe Wardlow. But not many others.

Is Bill Goldberg right to feel frustrated over how his final match was presented?

Bill Goldberg is an ingrate and should be happy that he got everything that he did. To paraphrase Stevie Richards, Goldberg just needs a big glass of SHUT THE HELL UP!

What are your biggest booking peeves? Either Tony Khan, Triple H, or any booker in wrestling.

The constant interference in the big matches, and it’s not even sneaky cheating. It’s complete entrances with music and pyro, but the referee doesn’t seem to notice. It’s no DQ because it’s a multi-person match. No, it’s, as Cornette would say, “Lazy Booking!”.

Who is your favorite women’s wrestler of all time?

For all time, will always be Lisa Moretti, aka Ivory.

If AEW went out of business today, who would WWE sign instantly, and who couldn’t they get or would blackball for spite? Who would they cut to make room?

Instant signings would be Ospreay, FTR, The Gunns, and Swerve Strickland. Instant karma would go to Ricochet, The Young Bucks, and Will Ospreay. And the WWE talents released? Apollo Crews, Shinsuke Nakamura, and about 1/3 of the NXT roster would be cleaning out their lockers.

Do you want to see Sting wrestle another match?

Sting is 66 years old. No more matches.

Who do you think should hold the true Four Horsewomen crown — the MMA originals or WWE’s version?

With all due respect to the MMA talents, the WWE version has a very significant tie to the original 4 Horsemen, aka Charlotte, who is Ric Flair’s daughter. And the original Horsemen were wrestlers, not MMA fighters. So, the WWE version gets the title and honor.
