Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.
Did you see Jelly Roll on the Jimmy Kimmel show? He put Logan Paul through a desk after Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre brawled off the set. Thoughts?
As soon as I heard that Jelly Roll would be hosting the Kimmel show, I knew we’d have an angle to promote SummerSlam, and WWE didn’t disappoint. It seemed a little rushed, but I think it worked well for what WWE was wanting to do.
Pat McAfee says he had to step away from WWE due to mental exhaustion. Thoughts?
A live show five days a week, the WWE stuff, plus other ESPN duties, and a new child. McAfee was doing too much, and when all the travel was figured in as well, it would be too much for anyone. Hopefully, Pat can return for the occasional event or PLE, but honestly, stepping away was probably the best thing he could have done.
Syuri made her AEW debut in the Women’s Gauntlet Match at AEW All In: Texas, and now, days later, she’s announced that she’s taking time off to have elbow surgery to fix an old injury. What the…? Thoughts?
This elbow has been a problem for a while, so why did AEW even bring her out for this show? Wouldn’t it make more sense to have her fix all problems first before having her debut? This makes no sense at all.
Would you like to see JoJo Offerman become a full-time presence in AEW?
JoJo is an amazing singer and was a decent announcer with WWE before she left, so there would be many opportunities for her with AEW. If they offer her a job, she should accept.
There is speculation that all of Goldberg’s complaining and griping may eventually lead to another retirement match, but in AEW. Thoughts?
Goldberg has backtracked a little bit and was thanking Triple H for the final match as of yesterday. I guess the blowback he got from his earlier comments might have made him realize how ungrateful he sounded. As for another match, possibly in AEW, never say never, but I doubt that it’ll happen.
Nikki Bella complained that WWE didn’t give her enough time to prepare for the match on RAW, and she felt unprepared. Thoughts?
A true professional always has their gear and is always ready, just in case they have to wrestle. Is Nikki admitting she’s not a professional and needs special treatment? It was a decent match, and Chelsea was able to carry her when needed, so no complaints. Just pull a Cardona and always be ready.
Who do you guys think has hotter female wrestlers, WWE or AEW?
Why the hell would I care about hot female wrestlers? But, I’ll answer anyhow. WWE has Ivory as an alumna and has both Rhea and Asuka on the roster. WWE wins.
Who will beat The Hurt Syndicate for the Tag Team belts?
Maybe FTR, or maybe Adam Copeland and Christian Cage, but I’m thinking about The Outrunners. Yeah, let’s go with Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd.
Has Roman finally reached the status of The Rock, Stone Cold, and Cena?
Yes, I think he finally has achieved that level of legacy.
