Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

1-5, what is your hype meter for Athena vs Toni Storm?

Maybe a two at best. I’m sure they’ll have a good match, but it’ll be overbooked, chaotic, and end in outside interference, probably by Mercedes Mone. None of that interests me.

Will Ospreay said he’s been hiding a neck injury for ten months and needs some time off. He’s got two herniated disks. He hopes to be back for Forbidden Door. Thoughts?

How has he been cleared to wrestle for the past year if this is true? Ospreay has been hiding injuries from the doctors, and it’s catching up with him. I assumed that Ospreay was a smart guy, but I’m starting to have my doubts.

Do you think WWE made the right call moving RAW to Netflix? Or is the old-school fanbase getting left behind?

It was a great move that expanded WWE’s influence and reach, plus it will net them 5 billion, with a ‘B’ dollars over ten years. WWE made the right move.

Do you think Mercedes Mone should ever go back to WWE, or is AEW the right home for her now?

Mone wouldn’t fit in WWE right now, and with AEW, they pay her a lot of money and she does pretty much what she wants. She’s better off with AEW.

All Ego Ethan Page has a new Canadian NXT North American Championship belt. Thoughts?

Lance Storm is somewhere smiling at this move. Ethan Page is a damn good wrestler and a student of the game at getting heat from the fans. Such a simple move, and it works every time. Good deal, Page.

Who is a wrestler that nobody hates?

R-Truth. Everyone loves Ron Killings, as they should. He’s an awesome dude.

Does Stevie Richards belong in the WWE Hall of Fame?

I’m a big fan of Stevie’s, but Stevie fits in the WWE Hall of Fame much like Koko B. Ware or James Dudley. As a personal favorite, I’d put him in just because I’m a fan, but based on his career and character, he really doesn’t belong.

The Undertaker choke slammed Trick Wilson on NXT. We know Taker won’t be wrestling again, so what’s the payoff?

Having Taker chokeslam Trick increased the audience for NXT by nearly 200,000 viewers over last week. Wrestling-wise, I don’t see the point, but business-wise, it makes perfect sense. And it worked.

Immediately after AAA Worlds Collide, all we heard about was that Mr. Iguana was coming to the WWE main roster. And now, crickets. What happened?

From what I understand, Mr. Iguana talked too much and said a bit too much, spilling the beans on WWE’s potential plans. And thus, the plans changed. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Mr. Iguana show up eventually for a one-off spot, but I don’t expect it to happen anytime soon.

Jacques Rougeau is now doing a one-man show. What other wrestlers would you like to see do a one-man show?

Obviously, Cornette, but unless it’s happening at his home, he’s not coming out to play. Who would be good? Ivory, Dustin Rhodes, Hornswoggle, and Billy Gunn would all be good at something like this.
