Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.
Chelsea Green has allegedly pitched a WWE Tag Team Championship run with Cardi B as her partner. Thoughts?
Chelsea also allegedly suggested being a live-action version of Alexa Bliss’s doll, Lily. It sounds like Chelsea is just throwing ideas out there to make sure the writers and WWE Creative are keeping her in their minds. She’s trying to stay relevant. No one can fault her for that.
Are you planning on watching AAA TripleMania when it airs on YouTube in August?
Yes, I will be watching. I’m looking forward to this event. I hope that Konnan and Corey Graves do commentary again.
Tony Schiavone did a mention of Hulk Hogan and offered his condolences on AEW Collision, but still nothing directly from Tony Khan. Thoughts?
It makes sense that Schiavone, given his long history with Hogan, would say a few words, but I expect Schiavone would have said something anyhow. It was a necessary move, but until Tony Khan himself speaks up, he still seems petty and he’s still a schumck.
Sky Daily, the widow of Hulk Hogan, has been accused of locking down his estate just hours after his passing. Is this a money grab by Daily or a smart move? Thoughts?
Look at who Sky will have to be dealing with. Brooke, Nick, Linda Hogan, and I doubt it will take long for all of the snakes to show up. Sky was Hogan’s wife, and she was there for him. She’s being smart and doing what she needs to do.
Wrestling Heaven has a new resident, and there will be a huge wrestling event to welcome Hulk Hogan. Ten matches. Book the show.
The announcers would be Gorilla Monsoon, Gordon Solie, and Lance Russell. Gene Okerlund with the interviews and Howard Finkel with the ring announcing. As for the matches, we’d go with Luna Vachon versus Sherri Martel, Eddie Guerrero & Art Barr versus The Public Enemy, The Road Warriors versus Public Enemy, Blackjack Mulligan versus Wahoo McDaniel, Fabulous Moolah & Mae Young versus Penny Banner & Ann Casey. Also, a Cleveland Street Fight: Ox Baker versus Ernie Ladd, Harley Race & Terry Funk versus Verne Gagne & Nick Bockwinkel, The Samoans w/ Captain Lou Albano versus The British Bulldogs, The Ultimate Warrior versus Randy Savage w/ Miss Elizabeth, and finally, in the main event, Hulk Hogan w/ Freddie Blassie versus Andre the Giant w/ Bobby Heenan. Damn, what a show!
Seth Rollins says John Cena is the closest thing wrestling has to Muhammad Ali. Thoughts?
I can see that argument, and in many ways, I agree.
Three ladies from G.L.O.W. versus three WWE Divas from the Diva Search/Tough Enough era. Who are you picking and who wins?
From GLOW, I’d go with Mountain Fiji, Hollywood, and Tina Ferrari, aka Lisa Moretti. From the WWE contests, I’d go with Christy Hemme, Linda Miles, and Nidia. And the winners? The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling.
Do you think Roman Reigns has peaked?
As a singles star, I would say yes. Roman still has plenty of fuel left in the tank as a top star, but the best days have passed.
What do you think of Travis Scott and WWE breaking ties?
WWE should never have wasted their time with that clown to begin with. Good riddance.
