Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

Brie Bella says that being married to Bryan Danielson, who works for AEW, is the major problem preventing her from returning to WWE. Thoughts?

Rhea Ripley’s husband works for AEW. Cody Rhodes’ brother works for AEW. Yet, they’re still both top stars on the WWE roster. Mia Yim’s husband is part of the AEW roster as well, but she is being used regularly. So, if Brie thinks that is the reason WWE isn’t calling, she’s probably incorrect. Find another excuse.

WWE Unreal premieres tomorrow on Netflix. Will you be watching?

For my curiosity, I will probably check out the first few episodes. After that, who knows?

Thunder Rosa announced that she is taking some time off from AEW for a well-deserved vacation. Thoughts?

Thunder Rosa has wrestled two matches for AEW and ROH in 2025, and now, she needs time off? From what I understand, she may have an injury, but that’s not confirmed. If it’s true, just say so. But time off, just because? Oy vey!

CM Punk recently revealed that he’d love the opportunity to play the role of The Punisher in the MCU. What character would you like to see Punk play if given the chance?

If the Punisher is used in the MCU, that role belongs to Jon Bernthal. But a role for CM Punk? Sidewinder, of the Serpent Society, comes to mind. Maybe Dr. Druid? Count Neferia might work as well.

If Drew McIntyre can’t make it back to the U.S. for SummerSlam, who should take his spot in the tag team match with Logan Paul versus Randy Orton and Jelly Roll?

The Miz has already made his name available, and given his history with Logan Paul, he would have to be a strong possibility. That makes the most sense to me.

RAW started with all the WWE Superstars on stage, plus a ten-bell salute for Hulk Hogan. They had already done this on SmackDown. Too much or just right?

For anyone else, it would be a bit much, but given who Hulk Hogan is and what his legacy means to the WWE, plus factoring in that Nick Hogan and Eric Bischoff were both in attendance, I think it was well done and just right.

What are your SummerSlam predictions?

I’ll have a column up on Friday with my predictions available.

Why did so many veteran WWE wrestlers leave for AEW?

WWE wasn’t using them in major top roles anymore, and they didn’t want to give up that spotlight. Plus, money. Tony Khan pays well, and they have big egos. And what more reasons would they need?

We had a chance to get Austin vs Hogan, two of the biggest stars in WWE. Wonder why Vince never booked it?

Austin didn’t want to do it. He didn’t trust Hogan. And Hogan didn’t want to job to Austin. It just never came together to everyone’s satisfaction, and thus, never happened.

Triple H versus Jack Brisco. Who wins?

Triple H is a great sports entertainer. Jack Brisco was a great wrestler. The match would be good and fun to watch, but the only way Hunter would win would be if Brisco decided to let him. In a shoot, Brisco would tie Hunter up like a pretzel. Brisco wins.
