MJF is out of the Hurt Syndicate. Thoughts?

This whole story has been rushed from Day One and makes little sense. It seems that MJF is fighting with Mark Briscoe and going after Adam Page, while The Hurt Syndicate is going after FTR. So, where’s the payoff with MJF and Lashley? Who’s the heel? The whole story has been a mess.

How do you think Triple H has fared as Head of Creative, 3 years in?

So far, so good. WWE is setting records with every show, and the shows have been consistently good. Hunter is the right person in the right job right now.

Drew McIntyre is back in the United States and will be at SummerSlam. Thoughts?

I’ve loved Drew’s videos blaming Jelly Roll for the passport issues. And the story of Logan Paul sending a private jet to bring him home? That was well done as well. The match at SummerSlam should be very good.

Do you want to see Alexa Bliss officially join The Wyatt Sicks?

At some point, maybe, but there is no need to rush.

Tony Schiavone recently said that he feels Kenny Omega is the “Hulk Hogan of AEW, if anyone were to be compared to him.” Thoughts?

I think Tony has been drinking too much of Tony’s Kool-Aid. Or maybe he’s getting a bonus check. Omega is many things, but comparable to Hulk Hogan, even in AEW, he’s not.

In a Texas Death Match, Hangman Adam Page beat Jon Moxley on AEW Dynamite. Everyone was banned from the ringside, but more wrestlers showed up than in the latest Adam Sandler movie. Thoughts?

Sloppy booking at its best. AEW crapped all over the main stipulation of their main event, and seemingly don’t even care how bad it makes them look. It needs to be addressed, and maybe Tony Schiavone can announce at some point that everyone who came out and got involved has been fined, to save face. I doubt it will be addressed, but AEW management should at least attempt to show actions have consequences. I doubt they even care.

The Patriarchy is no more. What’s next for Christian Cage, Nick Wayne, Kip Sabian, and Mother Wayne?

My guess is Nick and Kip will team up, with Mother Wayne as their manager. And Christian? After that bad-looking conchairto on Dynamite, he’ll vanish for a month, and then come back, make peace with Adam Copeland, and they’ll team up to fight Mother and the Kids.

1-5, how excited are you for a Christian Cage and Cope reunion?

They own a business together, have appeared in interviews on non-wrestling sites, and have been spotted together away from wrestling events, so I think the bloom is off the rose already. I’ll give it a two.

Today was Baron Von Raschke’s 85th birthday. What are your thoughts and memories of the legendary Claw Master?

The Baron wasn’t a monster or physically imposing, but the amateur background and the character were second to none. The Baron was an excellent tag team wrestler and always entertaining. I’ve seen him wrestle dozens of times, and he never gave less than 100%. The character was so over-the-top, but when he applied the Claw, you believed. A true legend and one of my favorite all-time talents.

A suggestion for the Royal Rumble last year was for the 28th and 29th person to do a double-elimination and for #30 to come in and automatically win… with #30 being Chelsea Green. Thoughts?

The internet would have self-destructed and blown up with anger, but that would have been so damn cool. And for Chelsea, she’s probably the only person in WWE who could have pulled that off and made it work. That whole scenario just fits Chelsea’s entitled gimmick. WWE was probably right not to go with that idea, but it would have been great to see Chelsea run with it. That would have been awesome.
