Coming up this weekend, from the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, are two nights of WWE magic with WWE SummerSlam 2025, live on Peacock, the WWE Network, and PPV. And we all know what that means? It’s prediction time. Let’s do Night One.

WWE Women’s Championship
Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Jade Cargill.

Is Jade ready to be a champion in WWE? She’s been there long enough that WWE needs to eventually pull the trigger, but she’s not really good or polished enough to be the champ. Tiffany has been a champion for a while now and is doing a great job. But I just have a feeling. I hope I’m wrong, but I think the title will change hands here.

Winner and NEW WWE Women’s Champion: Jade Cargill.

Randy Orton and Jelly Roll vs. Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul.

It doesn’t make sense to have Randy and Jelly win. Yes, Jelly has been working hard and has been impressive in the short spots during the build for this match, but Drew and Logan are two top stars, and let’s be honest. Drew can’t afford another loss. But Jelly is a big music star, and Randy really can’t afford another loss either. Look for Drew and Logan to try to cheat to humiliate Jelly, but get their signals crossed. Randy and Jelly are getting the win.

Winners: Randy Orton & Jelly Roll.

World Heavyweight Championship
Gunther (c) vs. CM Punk.

It’s been long enough. Gunther has been a great world champion, but it’s time to give the Best in the World his flowers for a few months. We’re seeing a new World Champion.

Winner and NEW World Champion: CM Punk.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
The Judgment Day (Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez) (c) vs. Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.

I don’t see how Raquel and Roxanne are going to get past the power team of Charlotte and Alexa. The odds are definitely against them. But I think we’ll see a swerve here. Judgment Day are united. Charlotte and Alexa are not friends. I think either Balor, JD, or Dominik will get involved. And the champions retain their belts.

Winners and STILL WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions: Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez, Judgment Day.

Roman Reigns and Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed (with Paul Heyman).

Bron and Bronson dominated on RAW, and they even stole Roman’s shoes. It’s payback time at SummerSlam. The Main Event OTC team with the win.

Winners: Roman Reigns & Jey Uso.

If Kross wins, Zayn has to say the words “Kross was right”. If Zayn wins, Kross must say “I was wrong” about Zayn.
Sami Zayn vs. Karrion Kross (with Scarlet).

I’m torn on this one. If Sami wins, the feud is over. If Kross wins, the story continues. I think this story still has a long way to go.

Winner: Karrion Kross w/ Scarlet.
