I have noticed a significant number of multi-man matches across all promotions recently, especially in AEW. Do you think this is a product of over-bloated rosters? I believe that all these multi-man matches dilute character development when they occur so frequently.

It’s a bloated roster and lazy booking. Take your pick. It does hurt the character development, as you say, but I guess that they just want to get as many people on the show as possible, and what better way to accomplish that?

Aksana versus Asuka. Who wins?

Do you even remember who Aksana is? I had to stretch my mind to remember. A bad accent, stripper music, and a crush on Teddy Long. She wasn’t much of a wrestler, though. Asuka wins because Aksana would not be ready. No one is ready for Asuka.

Harley Race passed away six years ago today. What are your thoughts and memories of the former 8-time NWA Champion?

A legend. An icon. The greatest wrestler on God’s green earth. There are good wrestlers and there are tough guys. And they all stand in the shadow of Harley Race. ‘Nuff said!

WWE Speed is reportedly done, and WWE isn’t taping any new episodes. Thoughts?

I had forgotten that the WWE YouTube series even existed. I would read the match results online and then forget them seconds later. I guess this show wasn’t the success that WWE had been hoping for and expecting. No big deal. WWE is overexposed as it is anyway. One less show won’t matter or hurt.

Kyle Fletcher defeated Dustin Rhodes in a street fight and is the new AEW TNT Champion. Thoughts?

I think everyone realized that when Dustin won the title at All In: Texas, it was not going to be for long. Dustin had the feel-good moment, and now, the focus moves to Fletcher, a young man with more of an upside and future than the one-time Natural. Now, Fletcher can build a future as the TNT Champion, while Dustin can go back to being a tag champion with Sammy Guevara and a Trios Champion with the Von Erichs. All is well that ends well.

Will Cody ever return to AEW? Will any of the Elite ever go to WWE?

I don’t see Cody ever returning to AEW. So far as the Bucks or Omega coming to WWE, Kenny needs to get his health straight first before that’s an option. So far as Matthew and Nicholas go, I don’t see it happening.

Favorite piece of wrestling merch? Either current or all-time!

Two things immediately come to mind. The red and silver NWA World Television Championship belt or the Mid-Atlantic Championship title belt. Both of those belts are awesome and hold special spots in my memory.

Nikki Bella allegedly suffered a breast implant injury during the 8-woman match on RAW last week. Thoughts?

She botched several moves in her first match on RAW, and then she busted a boob. Maybe this is a hint of someone trying to tell her something. At this rate, Nikki will be in a body cast by Halloween. She needs to slow down and be careful.

Do you think El Grande Americano will actually thrive as a main event star in AAA?

It’s a good gimmick, and so far, the three wrestlers who allegedly have been playing the role by wearing the mask are all great. I think El Grande Americano will do very well in AAA.

Do you think Ethan Page should be called up to WWE’s main roster soon, or should he continue building momentum in NXT first?

Ethan Page is ready for the main roster and can be called up at any time, but WWE needs to make sure a plan is in place where Page can be built strongly and flourish. Until the time is right and a plan is set, Ethan can stay in NXT and TNA and do his thing there. But he’s ready for prime time.
