Did Jelly Roll deliver in his in-ring debut?

Jelly wasn’t bad. There were a few very noticeable rookie mistakes, like crossing his arms on his chest while taking that bump on the announce table, or when being beaten by Logan at the end, but it was better than I was expecting. Jelly isn’t ready for a singles match or anything major, but for a celebrity fulfilling a dream, he has nothing to be ashamed of.

CM Punk won the World Championship, and then Seth Rollins cashed in the MITB contract to take the belt. Thoughts?

As Drew McIntyre stated, karma. But I’m not surprised at this turn of events, and now, we’ll get more of Punk chasing his dream, while Seth and friends elevate the World Championship and do their thing. It was a good twist, and while I feel for Punk, it was obviously best for business.

What’s next for Karrion Kross now?

Who knows? The match was good, but somewhat anti-climactic. I haven’t seen anything about Kross and Scarlett signing new contracts as of yet, and their existing ones expire in September if I recall correctly. I guess this counts as a watch-and-see situation.

Alexa and Charlotte are the new Women’s Tag Team Champions. Thoughts?

I would have preferred to see the titles remain with Judgment Day, but they can get them back at some point before Liv returns, so it’s all good. I’m enjoying the chemistry with Charlotte and Alexa, so I’m willing to give them a shot, and we’ll see how it goes. It will be entertaining for sure.

Do you agree with Michael Cole’s belief that Hulk Hogan is the greatest performer in wrestling history, or do his controversies outweigh his legacy?

I’m not sure about the greatest in history, but Hulk should be in anyone’s top ten. So far as the controversies go, the legacy and story that is Hulkamania, it’s bigger than a few scandals. He made a few mistakes, but who hasn’t? He didn’t do anything criminal or illegal, only stupid. But Hulkamania? It lives forever. ‘Nuff said!

Dustin Rhodes announced that he needs surgery and will be out for a long while, possibly the rest of the year. Thoughts?

Considering his age, Dustin may as well just have announced his retirement. I wonder how much of this comes from the recent matches and how much was known before. Regardless, it totally sucks. Here’s to a speedy and full recovery, Dustin. Get well soon.

What’s your take on Cardi B’s SummerSlam appearance? Do you believe that she adds anything to the event?

I think I missed it. Bathroom break or something. From what I understand, though, she added nothing to the show, as I expected. WWE wasted their money with her.

Linda McMahon was backstage at SummerSlam, Night One. Would you like to see Linda return to WWE?

Nope. Linda is too busy doing a little thing called being Secretary of Education, as part of President Trump’s administration. I don’t think she has the time, or any interest, in a WWE return.

Should AEW do at least a test run on Mondays? People aren’t watching Raw live anymore, it’s worth a shot. Thoughts?

Yeah, Tony should try that and see how it goes. It might make for a nice little ratings bump. Or, it might make for an absolute and total disaster. There is only one way to find out, though. Do it, Tony.

So Rollins’ injury was fake/not as serious as presented, meaning LA Knight was left off the card for no actual reason, right? Thoughts?

LA Knight got left off of SummerSlam, but he scored a clean pinfall victory over Seth in Seth’s last singles match. So, it seems to me that there should be a title match with his name on it. A main event of Seth versus Knight for the World Championship? I doubt that Knight has any objections. YEAH!
