Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.
Triple H says that WWE ‘PLEs’ on ESPN beginning in 2026 are going to be bigger and more of a spectacle than they’ve ever been before. Thoughts?
I’ll believe it when I see it. The only thing I’m positive of is that they will be more expensive. After all, how much more spectacular can you make a wrestling event without destroying everything that makes it pro wrestling? Triple H is saying the right things, but those are just words. Prove it!
Rockin’ Robin, Bill Eadie (Masked Superstar), and Greg Valentine will all soon be releasing books about their lives and careers. Which one are you most interested in?
Of the three listed, either Eadie’s book, as I was a huge fan back in the ’70s and ’80s of the legendary masked man, or Valentine’s, since I’ve also always been a fan of his, plus I’ve had the opportunity to meet him several times.
Paul Heyman recently confirmed that he is revisiting old movie scripts he wrote during his time away from wrestling. Would you like to see Heyman go Hollywood as a writer, director, or producer?
With the association of Netflix being such a huge thing these days, this makes sense. Nothing may come of it, but then again, Heyman could be the next Spielberg, Lucas, or Kevin Smith. It never hurts to try.
Natalya is challenging for the AAA Reina de Reinas Title at AAA TripleMania XXXIII. Thoughts?
WWE is adding some star power to the AAA event, plus giving Nattie something to do. Nothing wrong with that, plus it’s been a while. Nattie needs some wrestling gold in her life.
The Gates of Agony have re-signed with AEW. Thoughts?
Who? Oh yeah, Ricochet’s boys. I had forgotten that they were even there. They’ve re-signed? Good for them.
When will AEW finally invest in a training facility?
They should, but I doubt it will ever happen. After all, their wrestlers don’t take advice or need training. Just ask them. They’ll tell you.
Kyle Fletcher will defend his TNT Championship for the first time in an open challenge during Saturday’s “AEW Collision.” Who do you think his challenger will be?
Common sense says that the first person to step up, since Fletcher beat Dustin Rhodes and put him out of action, would be Rhodes’ ROH Tag Team Partner, Sammy Guevara. But AEW doesn’t work with common sense, so it’ll probably be Aaron Solo or Daniel Garcia, just because.
Which match would you like to see in the WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series?
Seth and his Vision team, plus maybe Drew McIntyre versus Roman, Jey, CM Punk, and Jimmy Uso.
Do you think WWE is playing fans with another worked exit like R-Truth’s, or is Karrion Kross really on his way out?
Karion wouldn’t be getting all of this publicity and attention if WWE planned to let him go. It’s all leading to something, and Kross will be remaining as part of the WWE for a couple of more years to come.
Do you want to see Buff Bagwell return to the ring in the future after his amputation?
Maybe as an announcer or in a secondary role, but not as an active wrestler. He’s not Zach Gowen, and I can’t see it happening.
