Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.
Who is the perfect opponent to retire Brock Lesnar?
It’s a tough call, but I’d say either Bron Breakker or Gunther would make the most sense.
Who had the best promo? Dusty Rhodes or The Rock?
The Rock is a master of the catchphrase, but Dusty was the ultimate storyteller. Dusty wins this one.
What if Tony Khan turned heel?
Nobody would notice or care. After all, it’s Tony Khan, and he’d screw it up anyhow.
If you were a wrestler, who would you pick as your manager?
Leaving out the obvious names, I’d want Woman, Baby Doll, or the legendary Sir Oliver Humperdink. Any of these legends would work for me.
Matt Cardona versus Sgt. Slaughter. Who wins?
If we’re talking about pre-WWE Sarge, then Slaughter would win it. But if we go with the WWE version, it’s The Indy God and Death Match King stealing the victory.
Should Shane Helms already be in the WWE Hall of Fame?
Not yet, but maybe in a few years. Right now, there are too many others that need to go first, such as The Midnight Express, Jim Cornette, Dutch Mantell, etc.
Where do you think Karrion Kross should sign next?
If the WWE release is valid, WWE has given AEW a great opportunity, and that should be Kross’s next destination. Go in, take the money, and enjoy the big push.
If Sting had beaten Hogan cleanly as originally planned and if he had become the face of the company, would WCW have survived?
Nope. WCW was a trainwreck in so many ways, plus the people who owned WCW didn’t want it. Sting and Hogan might have helped prolong the life slightly, but it would have been like putting a band-aid on a dismembered limb. The wounds were too deep, and the demise of WCW was inevitable.
Victoria versus Jade Cargill. Who wins?
She’s not the lady to mess with. Victoria wins.
Bret Hart says John Cena was a “good heel” during his recent heel run. Thoughts?
Was Bret Hart actually watching WWE and Cena? Bret might be the Excellence of Execution and a wrestling legend, but on this, I have to disagree. Cena was never believable as a heel.
