Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.
Naomi was at RAW on Monday before being sent home and not being medically cleared to wrestle. Any guesses as to what’s wrong with Naomi?
The rumors are that she’s possibly with child, but that’s all speculation. She and Jimmy Uso are scheduled to be part of an interview with Stephanie McMahon tomorrow, so I expect we’ll find out more then. I’d hate to see Naomi have to leave WWE for a while if this is the case, but if it does turn out to be true, I’m happy for her.
Cowboy Bob Orton Jr. versus Kevin Owens. Who wins?
Cowboy Bob Orton is a wrestling icon, and I’m sure he’d take the fight to Owens with that injured wrist in the cast, but at the end of the night, Owens would put the KO on the Cowboy.
What are your thoughts and memories of Brian “Crush” Adams?
BA was a great guy, a talented wrestler, and one of the coolest dudes I ever had the honor to speak to and meet. I have many emails of conversations with BA back before he passed, and these are among my most treasured items. A legend who belongs in the WWE HOF. And never forget, it’s all about Kronik!
Would you like to see Danhausen in WWE?
I’ve always said no about this before, but now that I’ve seen the recent videos with Danhausen and the APA, I’m convinced. I was wrong. Danhausen is just odd enough that he would be excellent in the WWE. Imagine a faction with Danhausen, R Truth, Santino Marella, and Mr. Iguana. Hey Triple H, are you listening?
Have you ever heard of a wrestler named Gentleman Jervis? Thoughts?
I remember seeing Jervis in some comedy matches against Orange Cassidy for NWA Hollywood. He’s pure comedy, but very entertaining. And his sleeper is devastating. He’s not ready for a major promotion, but he can easily be a guilty pleasure.
The Original Sheik versus Cactus Jack. Who wins?
The Sheik never booked himself to lose a match. That’s what killed the Detroit territory. Mick would take a beating, bleed, lose the match, and then redeem himself with a crazy stunt when it’s over, making everyone forget about the Sheik’s win.
Who’s losing their title first? Seth Rollins or Cody Rhodes.
It’s a tough call because I don’t think either of them will be champion for a long period with their current reigns. I think we’ll see Seth lose in Paris next week.
Should AEW PPVs go to two nights?
One six-hour bloated amateur hour of Indy Mudshow Wrestling is more than enough. Two nights of that chaos? No, thank you.
And there you go. Thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and questions are welcome and appreciated. Reach me by e-mail at Doug28352@yahoo.com or on X at @Doug28352. I’ll see you at the matches.
