Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

Per sources, Jey Uso is “heavily favored” to win the 2026 Royal Rumble. Thoughts?

Maybe, but I doubt it. Jey is still popular, but he’s losing the buzz. I think Sami Zayn seems more likely right now.

Tony Atlas reportedly attempted to deliver a eulogy for Hulk Hogan at Limitless Wrestling, but was booed to the point that he gave up. Thoughts?

Indy fans are there to see wrestling, and not listen to an older wrestler who hasn’t been relevant for twenty years talk about a peer who’s passed away. Yes, it’s rude and petty of the fans, but Hogan is a controversial topic, and it’s not like Atlas has a well-known history with him. It was the wrong time and place for Atlas to suddenly become a Hulkamaniac.

Karrion Kross & Scarlett versus Macho Man Randy Savage & Sherri Martel. Who wins?

The Macho King and Queen would snap into a hard-fought, but well-deserved victory. Maxho and Sherri win.

Do you think WWE should sell its library rights to ESPN, keep it exclusive, or shift to YouTube to reach new fans?

To reach the largest audience and potentially make the most money, I would think YouTube would be the strongest option.

WWE just announced that Naomi will “address the state of the Women’s Championship” on next week’s episode of RAW. Thoughts?

I guess we’ll find out on Monday if Naomi is pregnant, getting divorced, has an injury, or is just pulling a ruse. I hope it’s nothing serious because this is Naomi’s best run in fifteen years, and her character is on fire. I know I’ll be watching RAW on Monday.

Name a wrestling moment that will be talked about hundreds of years from now.

The first thing that came to mind for me is Hulk Hogan versus Andre the Giant at WrestleMania III. And most likely the fall and self-destruction of Vince McMahon.

Dustin Rhodes is currently one-half of the ROH Tag Team Champions with Sammy Guevara, and one-third of the ROH Trios Champions with the Von Erichs. But he’s out of action for at least the rest of the year for a double-knee replacement. So, what is the deal with the titles? AEW/ROH hasn’t even addressed the title situation. Are the belts stripped, replacements chosen, or what? And why hasn’t this topic come up before now?

The precedent for the Trios title is stripping the champs of the belts. It’s what they did to the Gunn Club and Jay White when White got injured. But no one is saying anything. The situation involving the titles and Rhodes’ being injured hasn’t even been mentioned at all. It’s as if the titles don’t matter and have absolutely no importance. Oh, wait. They’re ROH titles, so they really don’t. I guess that no one has noticed or thought about those belts. When Tony Khan actually remembers, we’ll probably get a tournament. Tony loves tournaments. That’s my guess, but I suppose that we’ll just have to wait and see.

Seth presented Sami with a World Championship shot a couple of months ago; if he moved to SmackDown, Sami refused. Now, he’s officially an SD superstar and even FURTHER from a World Title shot. Thoughts?

Shhhh. I don’t think we’re supposed to remember all of that. The card is subject to change, and now, they need to move Sami to SmackDown. Forget the past. It’s only the here and now that matters.

Sami Callihan is officially retired. Thoughts?

Callihan has been around for a long time, and I guess it was just time. Maybe he’ll come back in a few months, or maybe it’s real, with Callihan moving into a different role, like an agent or part of the creative team. Whatever the future holds, it’s been one hell of a ride. Best of luck to Sami Callihan in future endeavors.
