Do you think Cena should win or lose his retirement match?

The time-honored tradition is that a wrestler should lose on their way out. And Cena should uphold the time-honored traditions.

Who does Cena face in the retirement match? My current choices would be either completing the trilogy with Cody or Bron Breakker.

My choice right now would be Gunther. He’s already retired Goldberg, and by adding Cena to the list, his career would be set forever. Just ask Larry Zbyszko about that. He still claims to be the man who retired both Bruno and Nick Bockwinkel and is coasting on that reputation. Gunther could establish a new gimmick as the true legend killer.

MJF threatens to burn Mark Briscoe alive so that Adam Page will change the match stipulations for their match at AEW Forbidden Door. Thoughts?

Threatening homicide to get a wrestling match stipulation changed. I know that wrestling is all about suspending belief, but still. Give me a break. MJF could do so much better. It’s things like this that make me shake my head at AEW, unable to take them seriously.

Will Ospreay is allegedly not medically cleared to compete, but plans on wrestling anyway at AEW Forbidden Door. Thoughts?

From what I understand, Ospreay is legitimately in need of neck surgery, but he’s still doing this. It seems that Ospreay has Bryan Danieliatis, ignoring his own health and common sense for the sake of a wrestling match. I wonder how many releases and NDAs Ospreay was made to sign by AEW so they can cover their butt if something goes wrong? I hope that nothing does, but this is just carelessness and a major disaster waiting to happen. A good boss would talk Ospreay out of wrestling and send him home, for his good.

Former WWE talent Isla Dawn is now All Elite. Will she be a game changer?

I barely remember her from a few matches on SmackDown, but she didn’t leave much of an impression. She doesn’t have, in my opinion, the charisma or character to stand out on AEW and make any significant impact. In two months, she’ll be doing jobs on Collision.

How would you rank Lyra Valkyria on a scale of 1-10?

Lyra is a damn good in-ring performer. She stands out and can go with anyone. But her personality is dry, and her promo skills say bathroom break or will have you praying for a commercial. Maybe she just hasn’t found her niche yet. She has the skills, but not the charisma or character. I’d give her a 6.5 out of 10.

The NXT PLEs and Saturday Night’s Main Event will air on Peacock, while the main roster WWE PLEs will be on ESPN. Thoughts?

So, I’ll be watching the NXT PLEs and SNME, but will follow the WWE PLEs via the internet and highlights on YouTube. I can’t afford an extra thirty bucks a month per show. I’m on a fixed income. Goodbye WWE PLEs.

Do you think Lacey Lane would thrive in AEW’s women’s division, or would she make a bigger impact in TNA?

If she wants to make quick money, be featured for six weeks, and then vanish to become a “Whatever happened to?”, AEW is the place to go. In TNA, she would have more opportunities to be a wrestler, a character, and grow as a performer. The money wouldn’t be as good, but for credibility, TNA would be the better option.

Natalya has made history, becoming the 1st Female Pro Wrestler to win the Lou Thesz Award. Thoughts?

The Cauliflower Alley Club only honors the best with their top award, named after six-time NWA Champion Lou Thesz, and Natalya certainly qualifies. Congrats to a true wrestling icon, future Hall of Famer, and one of the best of all time. Congrats Nattie.

Lou Thesz versus John Cena. Who wins?

Cena is a better sports-entertainer, but Thesz was the real deal and would tie John up like a newly discovered pop star at a Diddy party. Thesz would win and it wouldn’t be pretty.
