Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.
WWE has cut ties with Knokx Pro due to the Raja Jackson incident. Thoughts?
It had to be done. Based on what has come out, the Knokx management and their ineptness are almost as responsible for the Jackson assault as the thug, Raja Jackson, was. If you’re aligned with WWE, you need to run a competent promotion and have your ducks in a row. Knokx Pro doesn’t and is paying the consequences as a result.
So, what does Dominik Mysterio have going on with El Grande Americano?
Maybe we’ll see Americano as part of Judgment Day, but I have a theory that maybe we’ll see an AAA version of Judgment Day, with Dom, Americano, and a few others, dominating AAA as the main Judgment Day does with WWE. It’s just a theory, but if anyone could pull it off, Dom and Americano are the ones.
Kevin Nash says that he wants to see Finn Balor challenge Cody Rhodes, but using the Demon alter-ego. Thoughts?
Cody versus The Demon sounds like a big-money match to me. I’d like to see it. Nash is on target with this suggestion.
Who should Stephanie Vaquer wrestle for the vacant WWE Women’s World Title?
My choices would be either Iyo Sky or Rhea Ripley.
Recast the Rocky Horror Picture Show using wrestlers in all the major roles.
As the wayward couple, Brad and Janet, I’d go with Chad Gable & Liv Morgan. For Riff Raff & Magenta, how about Bo Dallas (Uncle Howdy) & Charlotte Flair? Columbia could be played by Alexa Bliss. Eddie? How about Bronson Reed? The Criminalogist and Dr. Scott? Nick Aldis and Paul Heyman. I’d have Bron Breakker as Rocky. And finally, as Dr. Frank N. Furter, Seth Rollins.
Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland are likely out indefinitely. A hurting Kenny Omega works a reduced schedule. AEW is down a LOT of firepower on the babyface side. Who can step up and fill the void?
It seems as if Eddie Kingston is expected back soon, and Wardlow just returned, so that’s two possible top stars. Karrion Kross is a possibility, and maybe Sammy Guevara could step up. Scorpio Sky, too.
Playboy Buddy Rose & Col. DeBeers versus Rikishi & The Rock. Who wins?
The build for this with DeBeers refusing to wrestle the “savages” would be amazing. The match would be fun. And both Rose and DeBeers would end up eating a major stinkface from Rikishi. The Rock & Rikishi would win.
Is WWE spreading out too much and risking overexposure?
Yes. ‘Nuff said!
Scale of 1-10, how excited are you for WWE Clash in Paris?
I’m looking forward to the 4-way match, plus Logan Paul versus Cena. Right now, I’d give my anticipation a solid 7, with possible growth as the week passes by.
