Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

The WWE Speed brand will now be a part of NXT, and the Speed Championships will be defended as part of NXT. Thoughts?

So, it’s not dead yet. I’m guessing the YouTube deal expired, and WWE is shopping around for a new home for Speed until a new deal can be reached. They don’t want the belts to be forgotten, so they move them to NXT. Makes sense to me.

Tony Khan announced that the rules for the Casino Gauntlet Contracts have been changed, and going forward, a contract holder must announce at least a week in advance before they cash in for a title match. Thoughts?

This is the same man who loves to add four or five matches to every PPV with no build because fans like the unpredictability, but now he’s saying that the new rules are so that the big matches can be promoted properly. I can get Tony wanting to remove the obvious WWE MITB comparisons, but he sounds like a major hypocrite. Whatever though. It’s AEW and professional wrestling. It’s Tony’s world, and we’re just passing through.

Wardlow is back in AEW. Thoughts?

With all the recent injuries to top stars, this is a welcome return. Let’s just hope that AEW uses him better this time rather than the start-stop stories and pushes that he’s had in the past.

Should Raja Jackson be arrested for Attempted Murder?

It was a premeditated attack, and Jackson should be arrested, charged, and serve prison time because of this. There are no excuses.

Should KnokX Pro be held accountable for how they handled the situation after Raja Jackson’s attack?

This never would have happened if they hadn’t allowed it. They’ve already lost their WWE-ID accreditation due to this, and hopefully, that’s only the start.

Do you think AEW’s audience on HBO MAX is as strong as the reports suggest, or is it being overestimated without hard data?

Even Tony Khan has admitted that he doesn’t know the numbers, and the only person talking about how great AEW is doing on HBO MAX is Meltzer. We all know how credible he is when speaking about AEW. Show the facts and hard data, or take it for what it is: speculation and nothing else.

If Vince McMahon gave you an invite to his birthday party, would you show up?

Nope, but that’s only because I hate crowds and my health doesn’t allow much traveling. But if I were in better health, I’d consider it, and if I couldn’t attend, I’d send my best wishes and a card.

Rate AEW Forbidden Door on a scale of 1-10.

Too long, but there were a couple of memorable moments. I’d give it a 6.5.

Rate NXT Heatwave on a scale of 1-10.

Well-paced and a solid show. I’d go with an 8.

And there you go. Thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and questions are welcome and appreciated. Reach me by e-mail at Doug28352@yahoo.com or on X at @Doug28352.
