Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.
The greatest submission move in pro wrestling is __.
The figure-four leglock. It works in real life. I’ve used it. The cobra clutch is rather effective, too.
Kelly Osbourne is mad about Becky Lynch mentioning Ozzy’s name during her promo on RAW, saying she was ‘disrespectful’. Thoughts?
Right now, Kelly is just overly sensitive to anything Ozzy, but I doubt Ozzy would have minded the remark, and Sharon has said so many outrageous things that she has no room to say anything. Becky made a heel comment to heel a crowd and be a heel. It wasn’t disrespectful to Ozzy in any way that I can see. Kelly is just overthinking it and is too much in her feelings.
Will Ospreay says that several people in the WWE have reached out after hearing about his neck injuries, offering support and medical advice. Thoughts?
The management might not get along, but the wrestlers and wrestling itself are a brotherhood, and they look out for each other, as they should. The road that Ospreay is preparing to walk has already been walked by many others, and they’re reaching out, as they should.
Ricochet has filed a trademark for “Bald”. Thoughts?
Well, he is bald, and being bald is a huge part of his character, so I can see this. I think Simon Miller, the wrestling Guru of Baldness, might have some objections, but since no one has done it previously, Ricochet is building his gimmick. More power to him.
Jake Hager recently said in an interview that Tony Khan treats his wrestlers in AEW like playthings. Thoughts?
What have I been saying for the past three years? It’s nice to have my comments and opinions validated. Thank you, Mr. Hager. WE THE PEOPLE!
Do you agree with RVD that Raja Jackson was manipulated, or should he take full responsibility for his actions against Syko Stu?
Raja Jackson is a grown man and should take full responsibility for his actions. There are no excuses.
Rampage Jackson says that he’s been receiving death threats since the incident involving his son, Raja. Thoughts?
He probably has, and that’s wrong. But wrestling fans are among the most passionate and, at times, stupid, in the world. And in today’s world, threats and violence seem to be everyone’s go-to for anything they don’t like, much like Raja, ironically enough. Rampage has said some things, in defense of his son, that I don’t agree with. That’s part of being a dad. He’s stupid, but not deserving of death threats. That is stupidity at its worst. Blame Raja, not the dad.
Bishop Dyer (Baron Corbin) says WWE stops using talent so that they can lowball them on contracts and deals. Thoughts?
That’s an asshole move, but hardly surprising.
Sherri Martel versus Asuka. Who wins?
Queen Sherri versus The Empress. What a match this would be. And while normally, I’d be pulling for Sherri, she’s fighting Asuka. And no one is ready for Asuka. Asuka with a mist to the face for the win.
